This is the type of early Mei-Ping flask which was used in the 1,300’s to 1,400’s by the Chinese to transport mercury for trade to be use in gold mining operations. They measure 6.5 to 7.5 inches high and were found in the port of Tuban, Indonesia on an unknown shipwreck. This particular piece has an un-repaired crack in the body but is intact.
Description: A black pottery inks-tone was a rare survivor of scholar items from ancient time. With characteristic image of a toad, the ink-stone was assembled by a cover and a basin. Vividly it was depicted on the surface with toad's skin when old adhesives were preserved within the pleats. One old chip was found on the side of the cover.

A pair of Jianyang hare-furs tea bowls was well mold in fine shape. In evert mouth rim, the bowls were stand by circular foot rings. Characteristic abrasion was found at the foot ring where the body clay was covered with burial adhesives. Incursions were also found on the mouth rim. They were in lovely sizes- very hard to find on the market, but ideally for tea ceremony.
This is an antique ceramic Ge yao(classical chinese crackle ware ) bracelet found in Borneo, condition not perfect with that obvious one hairline crack (one round) as shown but not broken into half yet, other area intact and fine glaze. it has three spur marks because of the Sung style firing techniques, diameter of the hole is 8.5 cm
Chinese dark-brown glazed jar in globular form, The glaze was covered on the inner and outer part of the jar, trace of original remains in good condition.

Rare Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Buddhist Pottery Zodiac Jar
This interesting pottery jar was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279), or possibly the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) and has been been excavated from a Buddhist site in Yunnan province. It is made from a fairly high-fired pale grey pottery, the yellowish-brown surface colour being due to the iron-rich Yunnan soil.
Strips of clay have been applied to the outer wall to form two bands each of six lotus leaf panels...

A very rare large four scene Ming jar (1368 - 1644 AD) with three panels depicting the three friends and an additional panel of a small animal, the moon and a mountain scene. Size: H. 56cm. W. 38cm. Condition: No repairs. Some loss of the glaze around the rim.
