This late 19th century Chinese white jade (nephrite) dragon head shape buckle is 3 inches long, ¾ inch wide and ¾ inch thick. There are a few small chips and flaw on the side of the body.

Pair of late Qing dynasty Guangxu period circular form lidded seal paste boxes, each decorated in two underglaze blue relief dragons chasing a flaming pearl on a white porcelain ground. The Chinese god of longevity is depicted standing holding a peach branch laden with fruit in his left hand. The peach is the symbol of immortality. The artist has represented Shoulao slightly bent by the weight of his years, his gait is hesitant and his step seems reduced and slow. The left arm rests on the kidneys to relieve the pain. The details are finely sculpted, the hairs of the beard are precisely incised. The facial expression is well rendered...
This early 20th century ivory carving of a young woman is 12 1/8“ high (13 3/4” high with hardwood carved base), 2 1/8” wide and 1 ¾” thick.
