Large Chinese Guanyin made of Jade, with changing jade colours from light green to green, yellow, grey and black, the figure is seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus flower, one hand holding a bottle of elixir and the other hand raised in apan mudra.

The artist has put together three pieces of jade, the buddha, the crown and the lotus seat to a spectacular Guanyin statue with very detailed carvings...

Five dynasties yueyao small dish. 13cm diameter, 3,5cm high. Dish has some fritting at back side mostly.

A rare example yueyao large bowl decorated with emboss and incised parrot and flower motive. Tang or five dynasties period. Restorations conditions. 19cm diameter, 11,5cm high

Up for sale from our private Buddha collection is this bronze gilt Guanyin with a well carved six-character Xuande Mark.

She is seated in rajalilasana with an expression of peace and serenity. The Guan Yin is wearing a tiara and loose robes falling over the shoulders with lots of images.

Please notice the rare throne with its face on the arm rest and the claws on the base of the throne. Very seldom and rare.

Statue of God Hung Hsien Tati, a protector, also called The Great Emperor, The Immortal, in military garb, holding a bowl in his left hand. He was probably holding a sword in his right hand, but the sword is now missing. The god's right foot is resting on his tiger, while his left foot is resting on a dragon. Votive box (open) at the back. Polychrome wood. China, 19th century. Height: 14 1/4" (36 cm). Good condition.

A Yuan dynasty longquan celadon large deep bowl, rounded side with deep center and unglazed base, bowl covered with good green glaze, good condition no damage, minor crackled at glaze surface, tiny glaze fritt at inner rim, no chip no crack no restoration, high ping sound with finger tip, size: 20 cm diameter.

Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period famille rose porcelain bowl, covered on the exterior in a dense mille fleurs pattern set against a gold background. The base holds an apocryphal six-character iron red “Great Qing Qianlong Year Made” mark. Late 19th century. 4 7/8” diameter x 2 1/4” high. Very good overall condition with no chips or cracks. There is some wear to the overglaze gilt background. This bowl is from a Tucson, Arizona collection.

Pair Chinese mandarin squares indicating civil rank. The badges embroidered with colored silk and gold thread to a single piece of uncut fabric. Fair to good condition. Total length of the uncut panel 16 1/8 inches (41 cm). Total width 8 1/16 inches (20.48 cm)

Pair kesi badges without rank insignia. With background only, we assume this must either mean it was for a student candidate not yet with rank or perhaps awaiting the addition of rank insignia (if it was appropriate to embroider or stitch onto a kesi badge.) We have included photos of the front and of the back with lining lifted to reveal the kesi technique including varied gold metallic thread. Condition is fair to good...

We offer from our private exhibition a Tibeto-Chinese large and heavy gilt bronze four faced Amitayus Buddha from the late Qing Dynasty ( 1644 - 1912 ).

The Amitayus ( Bodhisattva of Longevity ) is seated on double-lotus throne in dhyanasana and with both hands in dhyanamudra.

The statue is 17,1 inches high and 7,5kg heavy!

It is marked and in great condition.

A white porcelain "Blanc-de-Chine" Buddhist Lion incense stick holder in similar style to the larger Guardian Lions which are frequently to be found at the entrances to Buddhist temples. These were probably originally made for domestic home altars and were among the first items to be exported to Europe from China as decorative objects. This item was made in the kilns of Dehua, Fujian Province, South China ,circa 1640-1660, during the middle of the 17th Century. For a very similar example...

A genuine example of classic Ding ware ( Dingyao ) is rarely seen here at Trocadero. The sketchy incised design of the " duck in a pond " challenges the imagination. Song Dynasty. This is another antique wine bottle of the Song Dynasty from our collection.

This large wine bottle is about 1000 years old and has been made in the Ji Kiln. It has a dark glazed body with an some unglazed dragon / phoenix decoration.

It is in good condition. There are only some little spoils of time and a little scratch ( please watch photos ). No repairs, no significant damages.

This is a Tibeto-Chinese bronze Buddha from the 19th. century. It has a unique design with lots of miniature Buddhas applicated.

Rests of gilt are still visible.

It has a size of 22 cm height, width 17 cm x 13 cm and the weight is 2,4kg.
