A cheerful family outing adorns this rich and colorful display of a day out in the country side. Dated to the late 19th and just prior to 1891. The ginger jar is in excellent condition without chips, hairlines, with very little rubbing of the details, hardly noticeable at all. A Chinese Yixing stoneware incense burner in the form of Budai, laughing as usual, grasping a small pile of cash. The stoneware has been attractively enameled with flowers and a Shou medallion decorates his back. The base has an impressed maker’s mark. 19th century.

The incense burner is in two parts, Budai sits on a large cushion, this base features a pierced disc for the insertion of joss sticks.

It is 4.4 inches (11.2 cm) tall by 3.9 inches (10 cm) wide by 2.3 inches (5.9 cm) thick. It is 153 gram.

It has flea bite and small chips, surface wears, and inclusions (as seen in the photos).

Chinese export porcelain serving bowl featuring a traditional Canton scene on the lid with a pine cone finial. The matching scene is also featured inside the bottom of the bowl. The outside of the bowl has the traditional floral design. Condition is considered to be very good to excellent. There are some firing glaze pops and areas of missing glaze around the rim of the bowl, common for these pieces. Possibly some small after firing chips, but very hard to tell if that is the case...
