This is an Amygdaloidal Basalt , well hollowed, of circular form, with a round neck, a flat, wide lip, and a recessed oval foot surrounded by a footrim. The background is dark gray, almost black, and the attractive mineral inclusions of various shapes are light brown, blue, gray and some shades of red. Some of them have multicolor burst like forms. It comes with a like material stopper that shows various shades of blue...

An unusual three sided mirror vanity case with butterfly hardware. The front mirror slides up into the case to get at the two drawers. Size: W. 29.5 x 2.5cm. H. 16cm. Condition: No repairs.
This late 19th century Chinese moss green jade pi is 8 inches in diameter and half inch thick. One side is carved with a landscape scene depicting two horses drinking water in a river. The other side is plain. The jade pi fits in a custom made wood stand. It is in excellent condition.
Antique Chinese beautiful gauze brocade dragon robe, made of dark blue silk with a very fine open weave probably for summer wear, embroidered in gilt-wrapped thread with five-clawed dragons, clouds, tall lishui border and auspicious symbols, collar and sleeves woven of black silk gauze with gilt-wrapped thread brocade, wonderful condition. late Qing - early Republic Period.

This is a diminutive portrayal of a crowned Buddhist figure, most likely a Bodhisattva, dating to circa the 6th century AD, Northern Qi dynasty. Note that the nose and areas of the forehead are darker than the rest of the stone, indicating that they have been rubbed by the hands of worshippers over the centuries, creating a "sweat stain" darkening of the stone...

This slender, attenuated brush pot (or possibly tool vase) of medium brown tone, displays a visible wood grain pattern on the exterior. The mouthrim and interior appear to retain the original surface. The base is worn fairly smooth from use. The exterior was probably refinished at a later time. The overall condition is very good with no repairs.

An perfectly potted porcelain bowl, decorated in underglaze Cobalt blue with an very nice clouds-decor. The tone of the Cobalt blue is very attractive and the glaze of this bowl is simply perfect. Ming Dynasty, Wanli period ( 1522 - 1620 ). Diameter: 11,9 cm. H: 6,8 cm. Condition : Perfect with a nice "ping-tone" when tapped.

A qingbai porcelain vase with moulded archaic decoration. The piece is covered in a thick glaze of bluish tone. The white body is exposed on the unglazed base. China, Yuan dynasty, (1379 - 1368). Height: 11.5 cm. Condition: loss on handle and two chips on the foot rim but free from restorations.
This apron is from the Huan Xi area and was part of the traditional Miao ethnic minority woman's festival costume. Made from home spun fibers,indigo dyed yarn, it is embroidered with tiny intricate cross stitch geometric design...the ties are also hand woven. The apron measures approx 17 x 17 inches and is in good condition...with a few very light stains which do not show on photo with enhancing...
Ancient Chinese Buddhist Pottery Amulet - Ming Dynasty
This is one of a group of moulded pottery tablets that we bought about twenty years ago. They are made from a relatively high-fired pottery and many have a surprising amount of detail. They were made as amulets and votive offerings and were reported to have been excavated from the foundations of an ancient Buddhist temple, where originally many would have been placed to ensure the success of the temple...
This finely detailed Chinese porcelain plate would make a fine addition to any Rose Mandarin or Rose Medallion collection. It is unusual in that the central medallion features a group of scholars. The rough and somewhat gritty bottom of the plate without any factory markings suggest a factory production circa 1850-1891. In very good antique condition, there is some wear to the enameling in one spot. See photos. Measures 9.5 inches diameter.
