Exceptionally LARGE Chinese Neolithic / Bronze Age Impressed Pottery Jar with Oxford TL Test

This extremely rare and imposing pottery jar dates to the around the 1st millennium BC, the late Chinese Neolithic / Bronze Age period. It is, without doubt, the largest and most substantial pottery jar we have ever encountered from this period. It has a rounded base and the whole of the outer surface has been decorated with repeated coarsely-woven cord impressions...

This is a Han dynasty funerary pottery tripod censer of grey colour, painted with pigment. There are traces of red and white colour pigment on the body as well as on the edge. The tripod censer stands on three short pediform feet. The holes above the body and the raising of the three feet suggests that it may have been used as an incense burner...

Chinese Jadeite Baluster Vase and Cover Republic Period Of flattened baluster form, deeply undercut as emerging within flowering prunus branches that also support a bird on each side and on the reticulated finial of the conforming cover; the pale green matrix marked with straw colored inclusions and the russet patches utilized for the flowering branches. This vase was property from the Portland Art Museum, Portland, Oregon, sold to benefit the Museum Acquisition Fund...

Chinese pair of official's hat arm chairs, made of beautiful huanghuali wood with light tone and dramatic grain, rattan seats, back splat of each chair is carved with chimeras, 19th century. Size of each chair: 46 3/4" high x 26" wide x 21" deep.

A Chinese Blue and White Bowl, Qing Dynasty. Diameter approximately 26.3 cm and height approximately 11 cm. There are few tiny chips and a hair line at the rim. Good condition.

Antique Chinese carved bamboo brush pot. Shaped in an oval form and carved with two standing figures on one side and a man with a donkey on the other. Carved all over with scholarly writing.

Late 18th to early 19th century Chinese jadeite carved plaque plaque for sawing onto clothes with carved and pierced decoration of leaves. Nice natural untreated jadeite with shades of green, in excellent condition. Height 1.44 inches, weight 8.9 grams.

Statue of God Hung Hsien Tati, a protector, also called The Great Emperor, The Immortal, in military garb, holding a bowl in his left hand. He was probably holding a sword in his right hand, but the sword is now missing. The god's right foot is resting on his tiger, while his left foot is resting on a dragon. Votive box (open) at the back. Polychrome wood. China, 19th century. Height: 14 1/4" (36 cm). Good condition.

Late Ming Dynasty, ca. 1600

Glazed with turquoise, amber and green enamels, this laughing Buddha holds his large belly with one hand, and clasps a rosary in the other. The back is unglazed and a stabilized hairline extends from the foot to the top of the base. There is a collection inventory number incised on the rear base and there is a small chip to the foot. It is accompanied by a later carved wooden base.

A large and rare KANGXI Period blue and white porcelain Bird Feeder or Drinking Well. Qing Dynasty, depicting Chinese landscape with house, lake, boats and mountains. Very good condition, no hairlines, cracks or repairs. Size 7 cm. x 6 cm. x 5 cm. Collector's item.

A well potted bowl in Chrysanthemum shape and glazed with a pale Qingbai glaze. Southern Song Dynasty ( 1127 - 1279 ) Diameter : 11,9 cm. H : 4,5 cm. Condition : Very nice condition with one nearly invisible hairline that actually seems to be quite insignificant because despite this hairline the bowl has a nice ping tone when tapped. A good Yuan dynasty blue and white peony jar with two ears, rounded side with globular body and un glazed base, jat decorated with under glaze blue of fine drawing vertical peony and chrysanthemum flower motif divided with beaded motif, covered with white glaze.
Jar is in good condition with glaze flake / shallow chip at the rim (please see picture detail) no chip, no crack, no restoration.
