A soapstone carving was nicely rendered to depict the grapes and vines.
Nice Qingtien stone in yellowish green tint was finished as a display item on the desk when the back side was flat and plain.
Date: 1910-1930.
Width: 16.5cm. Condition: Some defects to the rims, but not noticeable.
The hue was a bit light than in the pictures.
19th century Asakusa school staghorn netsuke of obihasami type carved with a couple of bamboo stals. The hooks at the top and bottom of the piece go around the edges of obi - a sash holding a kimono. Simple clever piece typical of Asakusa school, warm patina, darker porous areas as is usual with staghorn. Length 4.14 inches.

Antique bronze statue of the Tibetan Bodhisattva Tara. She is sitting on a pedestal in a Lalitasana posture (one leg folded inwards), and making hand gestures called Mudra, which hold special meaning in Buddhism. Her left hand is shown making the Vitarka Mudra, symbolizing intellectual discussion, and her right hand is making the Varada Mudra to symbolize gift giving. She has a lotus flower wrapped around her body, which symbolizes good fortune and purification of the spirit...
This is Indigo dye cotton dotyugi coat of the Edo era(1800-1868). It is made of hand-spun and hand-woven and natural indigo dyed cotton.
It is katazome, and, as for the lining, the motif of the plover is very beautiful.
It has a few thin stains. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.

Antique Japanese two-section kiri (paulownia) wood issho tansu, or clothing chest. Has a dramatic woodgrain and original finish. Adorned with spade-shaped iron locks and warabite handles. The bottom section has a safe box with two small drawers inside.

It is 69.8 inches (177.5 cm) from sleeve to sleeve, 27.1 inches (69 cm) armpit to armpit, and 53.7 inches (136 cm) collar to hem. It is 2.2 lb.
It has frayed silk at the shoulder, minor tears at the opening at the bottom, stains at the inside, discolorations, loss of threads, and surface wears (as seen in the photos).

A Chinese Longquan Celadon Bowl. Circa, 1368-1644, Ming Dynasty.
Found in the Philippines.
Featuring deep walls rising from a tall foot and is decorated with slender chrysanthemum-like petals encircling the exterior and its interior with a carved decoration. It is covered overall in a green celadon glaze except for the unglazed firing ring on the base.
Measurements: height (8cm), diameter (11cm) across.
Condition: in perfect condition. No cracks, no chips, no restorations...
