Antique Japanese choba tansu made of keyaki (elm) wood. The top portion has two small drawers. The middle portion has a compartment opened by sliding panels with horizontal slats. The slats are made of quarter sawn keyaki wood which dramatically accents the striped quality of the wood grain. Below this is a single large drawer. The hardware is made of iron and includes round lock plates.

A Japanese porcelain tureen that is decorated with the various Imari colors and motifs. The brocade exterior design also features large flying cranes, scenes of ladies dancing, and the Chinese mark for longevity on the top to the lid.. The interior of the lid and bowl each show a lovely large basket full of persimmons. The serving bowl with lid measures about 6 1/2" high x 10 1/4" in diameter, and dates to the 19th Century. A Large and Fine Blue and White Porcelain Dish: Korean, Choson dynasty, late18th-early 19th Century This is well potted and high quality of warm and semi transparent white glaze applied overall, it bears a character "longevity" underglaze blue on the dish. It is a quite large, and there are some beautiful spots of pink peach blossom colors under white glaze. It is in perfect condition. Measurements: 9 1/4" x 2".

Antique Japanese 4 pieces of crane shaped hardware, raised and beautifully detailed flying cranes, made of gilt copper repouse with dark patina, long nail in back of each, probably off of a temple or large shrine. Meiji Period (c1900). Size : 5 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" high (with 2" deep pin in back)

The exterior of the deep rounded sides carved with a band of petals rising from the foot to the flat everted rim, and the interior decorated in the center with two molded fish, covered overall with a glaze of guan type sea-green tone except for the foot rim burnt reddish-brown in the firing 12 cm diam. 1 cm crackline on the rim No chips or cracks and free from restoration.
