A Chinese Longquan Celadon Bowl. Circa, 1368-1644, Ming Dynasty. Found in the Philippines. Featuring deep walls rising from a tall foot and is decorated with slender chrysanthemum-like petals encircling the exterior and its interior with a carved decoration. It is covered overall in a green celadon glaze except for the unglazed firing ring on the base. Measurements: height (8cm), diameter (11cm) across. Condition: in perfect condition. No cracks, no chips, no restorations...

A well, deeply potted porcelain dish, decorated in underglaze Cobalt blue with cranes and lotus. Swatow ware, late Ming ( sixteenth century ). Diameter : 28, 3 cm. H : 7 cm. Condition : The body itself in perfect condition with a nice bell like sound when tapped. Some faint cracks to the very nice glaze of the dish.

Currently awaiting an uncertain succession to the 14th generation, this preeminent line of craftsmen has been a cornerstone of Hagi pottery for over 400 years. Here we see an historically important work by the second generation potter dated to the Japanese Era “Kanbun” (1661-1671)—placing it as a very mature work, completed near or at the very end of the life of this craftsman...

A green glazed "celadon" ware vase with flattened pear-shaped body made in the Longquan kilns, Zhejiang province, circa 1450-1550, during the middle Ming dynasty. The shape is probably in imitation of ring handled bronze vessles of similar form which have been produced in China since the Yuan dynasty. There is moulded floral decoration to the body and a plantain leaf design around the neck...

A pair of strictly museum quality massive gothic candlesticks, probably Nuremberg / Nürnberg, renaissance, c. 1500-1550 AD.

These very large pricket canbelabras, probably for ecclesiastical use, doesn't come much better than this present pair. Stepped domed feet, baluster-shaped stems with flaring sockets. The prickets in iron.

Antique Korean pair of small Koryŏ porcelain cups. Elegant form with small feet and sharply flared sides. Fine celadon glaze in pale blue with high transparency. The interiors are a paler translucent glaze. Each cup has a simple blue underglaze dot in the underside of the foot.

These tall, slender offering jars with lids are well-potted and molded with dignitaries, dragons and horses, and covered with a thin bluish-toned clear glaze. The bluish areas are apparent where the glaze has pooled around the molded figures. The lids are likewise glazed and finished with a simple stylized swirl of clay. The clay body is white and a bit sugary in texture. There are orange areas of staining from burial...

A rare and large blue and white porcelain jar, decorated with birds and flowers. China, Wanli (1573-1620). Height 21,5 cm. Condition: excellent, only some wear and fritting to the glaze on the mouth rim. On the bottom there is a scratch or glaze crack. This is not a crack in the body.

A set of five, sometsuke tusurugata kozara, blue and white Crane shaped small dishes dating to the late seventeenth century. An identical set of dishes is illustrated in volume II of the Shibata Collection at page 272 no 714, there dated c.1680-1710. Their condition is good all the dishes show crazing to the glaze, two have a minute chip each to the edge...

This genuine late Ming - Transitional blue and white dish is extraordinary, because in the design of this dish there come 3 different styles together. The front design is executed in the Transitional style, the back site of this dish is painted in the Ming Jiajing style, and the mark in the center is the Imperial Ming Xuande mark !
