Very rare Tang Dynasty (618CE to 907CE) terra cotta wall tile depicting the face of a Zhemushou, a fierce guardian earth spirit meant to ward off evil. It is a trapezoidal shape with much of original red and black pigments intact. Some loss to the lower lip (please see enlargements). Lower W: 19cm/7.8in, upper W: 16cm/6.1in and H: 20cm/9in.
Stunning antique abstract carving of a lotus circa late Qing/Republic era, this would have been a temple eaves adornment. W: 48cm/18.8in and H: 23cm/9in. Small damage, painted over in noted in 5# enlargement.

Belt hook nicely carved in the shape of a dragon. Light green jade. China, 19th century or earlier. Length: 9,2 cm. Remnants of soil encrustations suggesting a rather long stay underground, otherwise very good condition.
An beautifully detailed pottery figure of a MNother with her child, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD.), dating to late Ming period c. 1550-1600 AD.
The lady is clad in a large thick robe, covering the most of her head, and she is holding a newborn chikd to hear breast. She is standing on a round plint, and the glaze is torquise and dark blue colours.
Nicely painted facial details, careful thick glazing and a fine expression.

Attractive Greek Campanian red-figure squat lekythos with palmette. Late 4th century BC.
Height 10,8cm, ø corpus 5,1cm.
Condition: The jug intact, with minor ancient chip to the rim and encrustations. The decorations are finely preserved on this vessel. Small pinhole drilled in antiquity in the base rim.

A large and attractive gilt wooden buddha, Burmese, c. late 19th.- early 20th. century.
The Buddha standing on a small throne and a black painted plint. He is righly addorned in a fancy dress with multiple glass stones in red and green colours.

Salt box with its lid, of rectangular shape, decorated with incised geometric design on its sides, and geometric, partly in relief, design on its lid. An opening on the lid allows a spoon (now missing) to rest inside the box. Nepal, 19th century. Length: 18,7 cm. Height: 11 cm. Some erosion due to age, otherwise very good condition. Collected in Nepal in the early seventies.

A framed Christian religious painting of Mary with a winged angel bearing the signature and seal mark of Li Tian Duo. This item was painted in China during the either the late Qing or early Republic period.
The early 20th Century frame is age worn but the painting is in excellent condition with no stains or damages.

Opium box of rounded rectangular shape, decorated with an embossed design all over its body representing a noble man in front of a house in the company of two women, a floral decor, Chinese characters and a geometric design. The lid itself is decorated with an embossed feminine figure (a dancer) surmounted by a bat. The box is made of copper with a fine age patina. China, end of 19th century. Height: 5.6 cm. Very good condition.
