Large green glazed Shiwan pottery teapot in the shape of a water bucket with a pour spout, small lid, and carrying handle. In very good condition save for a tiny flea bite on the spout, it measures about 10.5” high (to top of handle) x 9" diameter (10” across including spout). Dates circa 1885.
A lovely large and heavy pair ot tweezers for the removal of bodily hair, Chimü or earlier, c. 600-1100 AD.
Very vivid piece done in reppousee to resample the bust of a human.
Size: 38 x 32 mm. and weighing 8.44 grams in quite good gold alloy, probably around 18 carats.
Condition: Good Very fine, a few minor dents but completely intact and still workable.
19th century netsuke carved out of kurumi (natural walnut shell) with two panels depicting, respectively, 4 and 3 scholars around a low table heating up wine and food by the rocks under pine branches and moon among wispy clouds. Full moon and chrysanthemum design surrounding one himotoshi suggest otsukimi - a moon viewing party - traditionally held in September. Fabulous clever crisp carving, well captured quiet mood of the scenes, precisely carved diaper ground...

Wonderfully carved antique suiban burl wood tray. This all one, solid hardwood piece is in great condition and has a lacquered shiny middle. Outside of tray displays its natural wood with gorgeous gnarls and ridges.

A very large and rare Cinnabar Red Wood and Lacquer Offering Tray, 19th Century, Northern Thailand. Good overall condition, some wear due to considerable age. Size: H. 31 cm. x 51 cm. top diameter. Very difficult to find now.
This is a unique Chinese Trousse. The chopsticks are black wood, presumed to be Zitan and are totally enclosed inside the scabbard when the trousse is closed. Both the scabbard and knife handle are covered with tortoise shell and have silver fittings.
Pair of early 19th century Japanese sword menuki depicting two dancers - a samurai with sword, and a merchant with fan. There is a nice detail for a netsuke lover - merchant is wearing an inro suspended by a gourd netsuke. Elegant design, superb detailing with gilding, in excellent condition. Fantastic example of Japanese metalwork. Height 1 1/8 inches.
Used as a "top coat" by a Han Chinese person.
Lush black satin weave silk fabric, ornate frog closures, original matching streamers, wide embroidered sleeve panels using metalic covered thread and couching technique.

Japanese Meiji Era bronze incense burner with playful shishi dog scenes in high relief depicted on each side. Handles have a twisted rope design. On the lid sits a Buddhist lion or shishi dog. Remains of incense on inside lid. Featuring a beautiful chocolate red patina on outside, this koro is in excellent condition and measures 10.5 Inches high. Seal mark on bottom.
This is a very unique copper alloy or bronze axe head. It is possibly Elamite in origin. It appears to be an early piece based on the reddish brown patina that is typical of high copper content pieces. It does appear to have been cleaned at some point. The socket is rectangular. There is a perforation on either side of the socket for attachment to the shaft pole. There is also a perforation in the rear blade which may or may not be original to the piece...
A wonderful small porcelain vase in the mille fleur palette, beautifully done by a Chinese artisan. A spiny coral dragon with a tiny gold gilt design wraps around the neck adorning this flowery beauty. Dating circa 1900, these are now extremely hard to find. Measures 4.75" high.
Hohokam red on buff bowl ca 1250 ad., "NO RESTORATION" has strong paint and has no restoration but is broken and re-glued, it is approx: 5-1/2"wide X 2"high.

A Large antique Korean faceted, ten sided, storage Jar with a matching lid. Such jars were a part of a Korean kitchen, and were used to store honey and molasses. The jar measures, with lid, about 9 3/4" high x 8 1/2" in diameter, and the mouth opening is 3 5/8" across. The lid appears to be original to the Jar. The Jar is in good condition. There are several chips on the underside of the lid, and around the mouth, and there is a 1/4" kiln crack on the mouth...
A lobed 4" white porcelain Kakiemon bowl with molded iris plants on the exterior. The interior is simply enameled with four small floral clusters.
Condition: Excellent. No chips, hairlines or restoration.
