Extremaly rare small cup with a superb quality opaque glaze. The exposed clay to the base turned reddish during the fiering prozess.

A good Yuan - Ming longquan celadon dish with incised flower (peony) motif, dish has flat bracketed rim with thickened edge and ribbed well, the foot ring and base are glazed apart from a wide ring for firing, the center is decorated with incised design of flower and foliage, the well and outside with vertical ribbing.
The dish is in very good condition no damage, no chip, no crack, no restoration.

Antique Japanese maiwai, katazome stencil dye on cotton, padded and in excellent condition, 51"(4'2") x 51", circa Meiji (1868-1912) to Taisho period (1912-1926). This maiwai is old but has been well maintained, pretty clean condition without any odor. One damaged area (did not go through to the liner) was repaired with very small stitches (photo #9).
