This marked bowl is one of 2 bowls which do come from an old German colletion. The condition of the glaze of the bowl is so perfect and glossy that it simply is impossible that this bowl an excavated piece. The glaze of this bowl is so much better than the glaze of excavated pieces so that this bowl must be an rare unearthed piece which already in very early times - maybe hundreds of years ago - came to Europe.

A rare Ming Zhengde/Jiajing blue and white tripod censer decorated with two dragon and flowers at the body. there also has head of kilin at the leg and under the handle. 28cm high until end of the handle. 20cm body diameter. The Shallow wide cup encircled by a f;aromg colla upturned at the rim,
resting on a splayed thick foot, applied overall thick green celadon glaze evenly,
the foot rim unglazed showing the grey body burnt orange-brown in the firing.
It’s in very fine condition without any damages at all, it measures 5.6cm x 16.5cm d.
