This is japanese antique kihada nature colour katazome sodenashi hanjyuban in Edo period(1603-1867). Katazome of kihada ground is very rare. Textile seems to be hand spun and woven and and has soft touch . The collar is yuzen and shibori of silk. There is neither stain nor damage. Pair of parakeets resting on a rock. White hard porcelain, yellow enameled spouts and legs, black enamel details. The body of the birds is covered with a transparent glaze, however the unglazed rock which is covered with a layer of brown lacquer. I don't know of any other other same parakeet listed so it is difficult to date them with certainty.Probably Chinese work from the Qing period. Good condition, lacquer worn in places...

Antique Japanese cast iron tetsubin (kettle for heating water for tea). Made with a tall handle and bell-shaped body. Raised shells adorn one side with a raised abalone shell on the other. The intentional casting of rough edges adds a natural beach-like appearance. The lid is also made of cast iron.

1909's Japanese Nippon Porcelain Coralene Fully Beaded Bowl with Louts Flowers Marked

It is 4.72 inches (12 cm) tall by 7.28 inches (18.5 cm) wide. It weighs 1.7 lb.

It has a hairline crack at the lip and a small chip close to it. There are several small spots of missing coralene beads. It also has surface wears, rubbing of gold, and yellowing at the bowl's interior (as seen in the photos).

Small cast iron tea-pot. One side is decorated with lotus flowers, the other side is without any decoration. The spout is doubled in bronze, the handle is in copper as well as the lid which has a decoration of small rounds in light relief of different patina, perhaps formerly gilded. The grip button is in silver plated copper and shakudo. It is likely that this type of jug was also used for alcohol as specified on the invoice issued by the seller in Kyoto which dates it to 1850. A large marple seal with a very interesting engraving, probably Bactria Achaeological Complex (BMAC), c. 3rd.-2nd. mill. BC.

Attractive large seal carved in a fine-grained white marple, with oval seal plate and a tall, pierced handle. The seal is engraved with a king or main deity seated on the throne, receiving tribute from a lesser king or minor deity. The tribute looks like a trident, but could be a sceptre. Both are wearing strange pointed helmets or perhaps partly animal heads ...

A lovely Pre-Dynastic / late Neolithic gable seal with a an artful engraving, Mesopotamia, 3rd.-2nd. millenium BC.

Carved in a beautiful mottled grey stone, gable shape almost scaraboid shape, hence the late dating. The seal carved with an animal fighting a snake - probably a Manguster or a fox, above a Lizzard. Really nice, lively carving!
