The beautifully grained rosewood box measures 10" tall x 12" wide x 6" deep. It has its original lock (with key) and recessed brass handles on the box, along with a bottom drawer that is locked by a brass pin that has to be removed in order to gain access to it. This is a very beautifully potted and elegantly curved piece of white glazed Wang Bingrong brush pot. The brush pot is curved and molded in high relief. It is also unusual in that most brush pots either have curved design and or colour glazing in low relief and in cylindrical shape. For this Wang Bingrong brush pot, it is unusual in that the entire shape of the brush pot is in the curving of a pine tree trunk...

A Finely Glazed Celadon Bowl Korea, Koryo Dynasty, early 12th Century It’s of conical form flaring from a ring foor to the wide mouth, incised in the well and below the lip with narrow line and covered overall by an evenly toned grey green celadon glaze. A short hair line crack and tiny small repair on the rim, otherwise it is in fine condition. It measures 7” d. x 2 ¾” h.

At the top, above the ship’s banner, are four character inscriptions in archaic seal style script: Huang Pi Chang Chon (clear, vast, luminous heaven) with a good silver-greenish patina on the face and back...

This is a magnificent coin silver fish serving set, ca. 1865, unmarked, in the Aesthestic taste with boldly cast and applied medallions and highly decorative bright-cut engraving. While unmarked, this set bears a striking resemblance to a medallion pattern made by John Polhamus and retailed by Tiffany during the same period.
