A Chinese Longquan Celadon Jar with Iron-Spots. Circa, 14th Century, Yuan Dynasty.

Featuring a small ovoid shaped body, topped with a flat rounded cover and is covered overall in a green celadon glaze with iron-brown spots, except for the foot-ring.
Measurements: height (3.5'inches).
Condition: there is a very small rim frit on the jars mouth but is overall in very impressive condition. No cracks, no restorations...
A lovely blue/green ancient Egyptian Scarab, before 300 BC, from the famous Mitry collection (see our Homepage). It is 3/8" long (9 mm) and made of steatite, an easy-to-carve stone that hardens when heated. Scarabs empowered life and resurrection and were often placed under mummy wrappings to protect the body and help it resurrect. Scarab comes in a jewelry display cup.
A Chinese Qingbai Glazed Vase with Petalled Rim. Circa, 12th-13th Century, Song-Yuan Dynasty.

Featuring a thin and delicately potted lobbed-ovoid shaped body, supported by a flaring foot and is surmounted by a waisted neck that flares to a petal-cut rim. It is covered overall in a translucent glaze of aquamarine tone and its base is fully unglazed.

This large and impressive pottery figure represents an official or a dignitary and was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). It is made from a high-fired buff-coloured pottery that has been cold-painted in a base coat of a creamy-white pigment with details picked out in red, pink and black pigments. The figure stands upright on an integral pedestal wearing a long flowing robe under which his hands are held together across his chest...

Chinese Northern Song Dynasty Qingbai Porcelain Bowl in Kiln Saggar
An opportunity to acquire a Northern Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1127) kiln saggar still containing its Qingbai porcelain bowl, excavated from a kiln site in the Jingdezhen area of Jiangxi province. This is one of a variety of different Qingbai porcelain wares in saggars, mostly bowls and dishes of varying sizes and patterns, that we were very lucky to be able to acquire some time ago and now offer for sale.

Featuring a pear shaped body rising from a short straight foot, tapering to its shoulders onto a long waisted neck and flaring out to its mouth. The vase is adorned with cloud patterns and flowers in biscuit and is covered overall in a white glaze, except for the foot-ring.

Chinese Qing dynasty Guangxu period lidded teapot decorated on both sides in underglaze blue with two figures from the novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" engaged in an outdoor sword battle. The lid is decorated with a central flower. Two Metal handles connect to porcelain supports at the shoulder. The interior and base are glazed. There are three strain holes at the interior of the spout. Measures about 8 1/2” diameter x 6 5/8” high. Late 19th to early 20th century...

A very ornate hand chased silver hip flask with a hinged rotating bayonet cap. Monogrammed on the cap, it also has the date 1892. There is a small dent on the cap. Measures 6” high x 3.5".
