A rare stoneware pitcher with salt glaze. Full-bellied shape with wide conical neck and flat handle. The base is festooned with “thumb” marks. The body is decorated with three medallions depicting a woman. A type called Trichterhalskrug in German. This stoneware pitcher was made in the Siegburg region in the 15th/16th century. It is covered with a fine salt glaze.

Very interesting key of a sturdy design with a Gothic floral bow in openwork. The bit with a double S-shape forming a cross in the center.

A large and high quality Ming Dynasty pottery figure of a warrior probably an officer, dating to 1368-1644.

The figure with many fine details. A high helmet with decorations, the harness is covered with dark blue and tourqouise colors. Note the lions on the shoulder and the stomach belt. He is wearing a grenade in his hand. Pigmented colors in red, white, black of which much remains.

The head is attachable as on most larger ming figures...

The cup on foot was turned in 2 parts, the bowl and the foot, then were assembled with slip clay, you can see the trace of the assembly covered by translucent glaze on the photo. The decoration is underglaze in a pretty luminous cobalt blue...

A brown glaze bowl with white slip of prunus scroll among crescent moon. Late Ming 17th century. Condition is good, only found two minor hairlines and minor chips (restored). Diameter: 11.5cm.

17th Century Kangxi Period Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Vase with Landscape

It is 8.7 inches (22.1 cm) tall by 3.9 inches (10 cm) wide. It is 1.4 Lb.

It has skip and excess glazes, glaze crazing, glaze cracks, dark spots, firing cracks and flea bite chips at the bottom, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

A very rare large white Chinese vase. Very difficult to find an original white vase like this. The production of white glazed wares was not very large, yet their quality was generally rather high.This one has a symbol of a human figure painted inside most likely done by the those who owned the vase. A lovely and scarce Italian closed combat helmet, with eye slits a come or ridge and a hinge at the side; it also have a produding iron guard that could also function as sunscreen, c. 1580-1610.

Two rare turquoise glazed foo lion candle holders of the Ming dynasty, these are not the typical joss stick holders, for reference of this type, please refer to the book " Song dynasty ceramics" by Rose Kerr. Shown on page 57 fig. 53, is a candlestick in the form of a lion, though dated 12th-13th century, the spouted form atop the backside of the lion renders it a candlestick.
