19th century Chinese export napkin ring carved on the outside with a continuous scene of a dragon in flight among swirling clouds. Wonderful work with deep undercutting, beautiful patina, in excellent condition. Inside diameter 1 7/16 inches, height 1 inch.

Sometimes assumed by Westerners as "medical models" these are Chinese fertility dolls. As ritual items, they rarely come onto the market. Used by several Chinese ethnic minority cultures, including the Miao, Yao and Naxi, the old fertility dolls were hand carved, anatomically correct and with pegged and jointed limbs. The hair styles and head gear would vary depending on the minority group...

Wonderful work with deep undercutting, beautiful patina, in excellent condition. Carved with a numeral 10 in raised oval reserve. Inside diameter 1 1/2 inches, height 5/8 inches.

A Very Large and Heavy Sterling Silver Tray, in the Victorian Manner, by E G Webster of New York. Dimensions; 20" in diameter x 1.5" in height; over 7.5 pounds (110+ounces)in weight. With the Webster sterling mark of a fleur-de-lis, crown, and lion (the tray was tested for silver). From the last quarter of the 19th century. Some surface scratches, but in excellent condition.

An Elegant Late Victorian English Silver Tea Caddy with a Bird and Floral Repousse Design. Hallmarked for London, 1895, with the Makers Mark of WG over JL, for William Gibson and John Langman founders of Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Ltd. in 1880 on Regent Street in London Dimensions; 4.25" high x 3.25" diameter; weight, 4.1 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

A lovely set of twelve sterling silver demitasse spoons by Whiting. This pattern, probably referred to as “39”, was most likely only made as demitasse spoons. Whiting produced a number of patterns in the 1880s and 90s that were limited in this way. The handles, beautifully decorated with a pierced pattern of lilies of the valley, blend into corkscrew twist stems that connect to bowls enhanced with repousse decoration of chrysanthemums...

A gorgeous Napoleon III white opaline glass baluster-form vase with an everted apple green opaline rim and an applied molded green opaline foot with knopped and ribbed decoration. The overall design is very pleasing and the color contrast is stunning. The quality is comparable to Baccarat, although the vase was probably made at a competing cristallerie.

Origin: France, ca. 1860. Condition: excellent, all original, no cracks or chips. Size: 10-1/2” tall.

A marvelous and very rare Victorian patchbox, the body carved from a single piece of ivory and the cut crystal lid enclosing a cameo incrustation (“sulphide”) depicting a pansy. A ribbon tied around the flower’s stem reads “a moi”. This is a clever play on words. The French word for pansy is “pensé”, which is very nearly the same word used to mean “thought”...

English sterling hinged snuff box from Chester, c.1898. Measures 2" by 1 1/4" by 3/4" high with light decorative monogram. It is signed with appropriate marks and the maker and is in excellent condition......$10 for insured shipping.

Two antique bone thread winders one in the shape of a fish and the other with to concave ends. Both measure just shy of 1 1/2". These would be nice to add to a sewing collection. Mid to late 1800's.
