An ancient Egyptian white steatite scarab, with finely engraved anatomical features such as clypeus, prothorax and elytra. The reverse is detailed with hieroglyphs, including the engraved depiction of a beetle scarab with the sun disk, a basket, a feather of Maat and a papyrus stem. The amulet is pierced longitudinally for suspension.

Origin: Egypt

Period: 1539 - 664 B.C.

Date: 18th - 25th Dynastie

Japanese Neolithic period magatama bead made out of agate (carnelian type). Magatama are curved beads which first appeared in Japan during the Jomon period (circa 1000 BCE), and in Korea during the Prehistoric period, mainly in the Bronze Age and Neolithic. They are found in mounded tumulus graves as offerings to deities, and continued to be popular with the ruling elite throughout the Kofun Period, and are often romanticized as indicative of the Yamato Dynasty of Japan...

4 7/8" long fossilized Megalodon sharks tooth in excellent condition. Found in a river near Savannah, GA. This size tooth is from a 50 foot long meg. Nice river polish. Heavy. These teeth are often faked. This tooth is from a 10 million year old fossil and has no repair or restoration. Most have serious undetected restoration. This one is a no-brainer. A fine Chinese Zhao Dynasty Two Handle Vase from the warring states phase b.c. 475-221. Measuring about 4” x 5”

The horizontal inscription reads: “Illuminate the Osiris of the priest of the goddess Smentet, PA-DI-USIR”. He was a priest of the goddess Smentet and priest of the sanctuary of Ptah-Un! His moters name is given as Irbinat.

This ushabti figurine is depicted as a worker holding two hoes for work in the fields of Osiris in the afterlife. He is wearing a tripartite wig which falls down between the shoulders. He has an Osiris-type beard which ends in a tight forward curl...

Shabti for Neb-Neheh

White glazed Faience

The Shabti with the epithets for Osiris Neb-Neheh, in this instance the first appears to be the name of the deceased. He wears a distinct long lappet wig and more unusually at the back the basket lies diagonally below the yoke with two water pots.
