A nice small type of Danish boatshaped battle axe, from the late battleaxe period, ca. 2400-2000 BC.

A finely made battle axe with great lines and curves, boat-shaped and finely polished. One end blunt to function as a hammer. Very elegant axe.

Interesting and typical large specimen of broadbladed silex axes, imitating the celts of the early European bronzeage, made in South East Denmark, during Late Neolithic period, ca. 1800 BC.

The axe unpolished and with visible seams, typical grey-brown Danien silex of Lolland/Falster region and beautiful patina from 4000 years of buriel. Outswayed blade that looks the blade of a bronze celts.

This pair of wine glasses was produced in Bohemia by Moser in the 1880s. They are 5 ¾ inches high and the diameter of the opening is 2 inches. The glasses are hand blown and have leaded content so that they ring. The glasses are hand enameled in exquisite fashion. All of the enamel is raised. Elaborate gilding fills in the spaces in between. Tiny pink roses dangle from the bottom of the bowl and down the stem. Rows of white enamel dots encircle the foot of the glasses...

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen between 1890 and 1910. It has first quality crossed swords markings under the glaze. The saucer measures 5 3/8 inches and the cup is 2 3/8 inches high. The set is made of the finest quality porcelain the Western world has known. The cup features a split twig handle. A rare Edo era Gyosho Tansu (peddler's chest) made entirely of Kirinoki (Paulownia) wood. All original hand made iron hardware and original dark wiped lacquer technique finish. Unusual features include the front to back swivel carrying handles and three secret compartment boxes. One box hides to the back of either shelf tricking a thief to think that he/she found the precious treasure. Behind each of the two bottom drawers also hides secret boxes where the real treasure is kept.
