Lovely ceramic amber and green sancai glaze fish offering from the Ming Dynasty. These were put on small pottery altar tables and interred with ancestor to provide for them in the afterlife. Good condition , no damage. L: 10cm/4.9in.

Faience shabti for Hathor-em-achet. Depicted mummiform, with hands emerging from tightly fitting garment, wearing the false beard and seed sack strung over his left shoulder. 30th Dynasty, 380-340 B.C. Small chip on nose. A fascinating and exceedingly rare bronze stamp seal of the Hephthalites or the Whine Huns as they're also known. Hunic Empire of the Hindu Kush, 4th.-6th. century AD.

The seal is of an advanced form with a tall handle ending in an oval loop. The plate is oval and engraved with a fine depiction of a parading horse.

Highly interesting stone seal carved in an extremely hard jade-like stone (probably nephrite), Anatolia, found at Mersin, c. 2nd.-1st. millenium BC.

Archais symethric grit pattern in the base, the seal itself of a monolithic shape that could look like an animal head. This is dated by Oberländer to the Pre-Historic period, but we believe it to be a later seal, due to the shape of the seal and the very hard stone used.

A VERY RARE Pair of VINCENNES-SÈVRES, 18th-19th Polychrome Porcelain Plates, decorated with Motifs of the HERCULANEUM Service, including "CENTAUR CAPTURED BY BACCHANTE" and "CENTAUR CARRYING MALE, LYRE & CYMBALS". Large Chinese Ming dynasty wide-mouthed globular form guan jar with short, vertical collar-like neck and wide angled mouth covered overall in a dark brown/black crackled glaze that coats the interior and ends at the base. A thread relief moulded band of scrolling foliage decorates the upper section of the jar. A narrow floral band is above it. A circular trademark with four small flowers surrounding it is in relief on the flat, unglazed base. 11” high by about 11” diameter...

A scarce triangular stamp seal, carved in a fine red jasper stone with a grit-pattern in the base, probably 2nd. mill. BC.

Though the motif of the grit pattern points to a pre-historic dating, the choice of stone and the shape and polishing of this seal, probably makes the seal much later, made up in the 2nd. mill. BC.

A rare bone seal with a finely carved base, Western Mesopotamia, dating to the 4th.-3rd. mill. BC.

The seal in the rectangular gable form, carved with with two animals in the base.

Condition: Very Fine, intact and nice for type considering the fragile material, with some extensive wear from use to the back from the string.

18th century or earlier Chinese carved marble head of the Buddha. Superb carving, extraordinary beatific face with a slight smile. Wonderful finish to the surface, great feel of age. Pleasantly heavy, comes with very well made hardwood stand. Marble height 7.5 inches, height with stand 10 inches.

19th century Chinese silver hairpin with chased decoration of flowers, the leaves are enhanced with enamel, and with a Chinese hallmark on the back. Made for Straits Chinese (known as Peranakan - persons of mixed Chinese and Malay/Indonesian heritage), lower grade silver, beautiful sharp work, some losses to enamel, overall in great condition. Length 4 1/4 inches.
