A large Mimitsuki Vase covered in deeply fissured celadon glaze by Suzuki Sansei (b. 1936) enclosed in the original signed wooden box. The translucent glaze is like that of an agate, shattered with heat, the crackling wide in the thick pale bluish green fog. The vase is 11 inches (28 cm) tall, 5-1/2 inches (13.5 cm) diameter and in perfect condition.

Precise, elegant, long 14k gold and orange chalcedony earrings by contemporary jeweler Richard Chavez from the San Felipe Pueblo. Active since 1976, he is a master stone cutter and inlayer and the winner of numerous awards. These earrings are 2 1/2" long, weigh 16 grams total and have posts for pierced ears. A large and wonderful vase by Mihara Ken enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Sekki Kaki (Un-Glazed Flower Vessel)and date to 2012. The entire work is soft and matte, like an old charcoal sketch, exuding a very powerful “Wa” sense of harmony. Kosei was born in 1916 in Iga city, Mie Prefecure. He made his National Debut as an oil painter artist, his interest in traditional Iga-yaki ceramics started in 1945, and he becomes an Iga potter in 1947, enjoying a long apprenticeship under master potter Komori Shinobu and Sakuzo Hineno at the Institute of Nanagu Ceramics in Ueno, Mie Prefecture.
