Eye catching hand forged sterling silver pin designed and signed circa 1940's by Taxco, Mexico silver Maestro Hector Aguilar (1905-86). Brooch measures 3" long X 1 1/4" high. Both pin and 7 cascabels are in beautiful condition with no dents or dings. Pin back and safety lock work well. Fully hallmarked on reverse HA TAXCO STERLING MADE IN MEXICO. Likely inspired by a Pre-Columbian design.

DESCRIPTION: Late 1900s, a fine sterling pendant with a cut-out flourish on the pendant plate and with a large, colorful calsilica stone, also called "rainbow calsilica," this one reflecting the painted colors of a Southwestern mountain desert at sunset. Very good condition, marked "DTR" (Desert Rose Trading, NM), ".925" (indicating sterling silver). DIMENSIONS: Pendant is 2-1/2" long.

An Art Deco filigree cut crystal choker length necklace 1930. This rhodium plated necklace has a spring-ring catch, it measures 14" long, and it has a central 1-3/8" x 3/4" drop and round and rectangular claw-set open backed crystal stones. It is unsigned, and this necklace is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Art Deco 18K gold and sapphire stirrup cufflinks in the style first popularized by Cartier. The heavy mesh sides are accented with two blue sapphire sugarloaf cabochons on each cufflink. Each is stamped with French 18K gold hallmarks.

Francois - Coro tried to give their costume jewelry a "French" touch and Francois was chosen as the name for their higher end jewelry. The line was introduced in 1933. But the line only lasted until 1944 when it was replaced by Vendome as Coro's Couturier division.

Unusual sterling and amber pin by N.E. From, Denmark, c.1950's. Good modernist design with a bezeled round amber stone, this dimensional organic pin is signed "STERLING DENMARK N.E.FROM 925S". This late Victorian period 9K yellow gold love knot pin is 7/8" in diameter and it features a natural baroque pearl, and it is stamped 9K with a maker's mark. Stunning vintage natural undyed pale salmon angel skin coral and black onyx 9 strand beaded necklace with a goldtone, probably gold plated, slide clasp with with a large onyx cabochon. Circa 1970. The clasp has a flip safety catch. 30 inches wearable length and about 1 1/4 inches wide. It weighs 123 grams. The larger coral beads are 3/8 inch long by 1/8inch wide or 6mm by 4mm. This fascinating reliquary locket depicts a saint, probably St. Peter, holding a key (to the church? Or perhaps to heaven?), with a dove in the background. On the other side is a photograph of an ecclesiastical-looking person. It contains a touched relic (a bit of ribbon which has been touched to a saint’s bone or something worn by a saint); a tiny metal medal with Mary on one side, saying "Mary conceived without sin” and more Christian imagery on the other; and a wisp of cotton...

This 14K brushed gold trifari necklace sometimes carries the crown mark and sometimes it does not. I have seen it both ways.

An exquisite platinum and diamond brooch in the form of a turtle by Tiffany & Co. In the 1990’s, Tiffany created a small line of nature-themed jewels loosely based on antique pieces in its design archives. The turtle pin was one of the most luxurious pieces in the series. Marked 950 and BURLE MARX on the inside. Measures 6 3/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Measures 1" at the widest. Weighs 104 gr.

Fine condition. There are some minor surface scratches to the finish. There is a slight separation at the underside of the bezel but the stone is stable.
