This very Victorian pin is gold fill set with two rose-cut red pastes and one cabochon ‘turquoise’. The pin is 1 ¼" wide with a central ball element that is 3/8" in diameter. Applied circles of wire rope ornament a vertical, rectangular bar. A hollow ball dangles from two chains; another chain connects the pin to the stickpin. This lovely pin is 14 k gold. The very Victorian motif of hearts on a crescent is outlined in seed pearls. It is hallmarked but the mark is incomplete; the marks for Birmingham and England are present, along with an unidentified mark. There is no date stamp but the 2" wide pin appears to be circa 1890.

Very nice Art Nouveau 10K yellow gold stickpin in the form of a lady’s head. A 4-pt. old mine-cut diamond of very good quality is set at the end of her trailing hair. The surface of the gold has the “bloomed” texture characteristic of Art Nouveau jewelry.

Origin: probably American, circa 1900. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: head, 11/16” x 7/16”; overall length, 2-7/8”. Weight: 1.5 grams.

A Victorian silver and enamel cased set consisting of a collar pin and three buttons with spirals, the oval 1 3/8in pin with amethyst enamel center and white border, and three matching buttons, 1/2in diameter, marked Sterling and Makers Mark on back. The original covered case marked Cutlers & Silversmiths, M Gay & Son, London. The size of the box is 2 1/4 x 2 1/2 inches. Excellent condition. A showstopper for the creative designer.

A classic Victorian fancy double belcher chain link necklace composed of interlocking fluted and ropetwist links in 14K gold. A colorful butterfly, it’s old mine cut diamond and sapphire body sporting wings studded with rubies, rose cut diamonds and emeralds, stands atop a diamond-encrusted twig in this gorgeous late Victorian jewel. Victorian butterfly jewels usually portray the insect with its wings spread in a rather rigid fashion. This pose is far more naturalistically attractive. The stones together weigh close to 3 carats, and all have excellent color...

This is a Vintage 1950's Diamonds & Sapphire Pendant from a Florida estate. Sapphire is 1 Ct; Diamonds weight is approximately 2/3 Ct.

This pretty ring consists of a flower made of six pearl “petals” (one of which is a replacement), centered by a tiny rose cut diamond. There is a compartment underneath, perhaps for storing a lock of hair, but no glass. The ring tests as a very strong 14kt, so it is probably 15kt (and therefore English). Cobalt blue enamel decorates the shoulders, which we’ve had touched up – this ring was obviously very well loved, and it’s still beautiful! Size 6. Early Victorian or late Georgian...

An exceptional 18k yellow gold Victorian diamond and genuine sapphires ring dated 1890. This wonderful survivor features an oval rose cut diamond measuring 20-22 points by gauge flanked by four genuine cornflower blue sapphires. It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1890-91 and it has the English registry cipher mark (unsual to find on jewellery). It weighs 3.6 grams, it has an A.A maker's mark. It would make a unique wedding band for those who would like more than diamonds...

Twentieth Century 14 Karat Blue lapis lazuli signet ring of German or Austrian origin, with initials SVC and a charming intaglio of a stylized castle. The band has a purity mark of 585 on one side and a maker's mark on the other. The ring is hand engraved in the inside of the band with "Van Vater, March 12 1985", German for "From Father, March 12 1985". The ring dates from 1975-1985...

A beautifully delicate design is this 10Kt gold amethyst and seed pearl Victorian openwork pendant. The center of the pendant is a bezel set 5 millimeter round faceted amethyst, while the cascading garlands on either side are decorated by forget-me-not-s.
