This simple but sophisticated ring features a lovely, polished dyed blue chalcedony is securely prong set in a sterling silver mount. The setting displays openwork shoulders with light embossing. The inside of the band is marked sterling and shows an unidentified maker’s mark. The stone exhibits no scratches or other signs of wear. The stone measures stone 7/8 inch long by 5/8 inch wide. The ring is a size 5 ¼.

An English sterling silver 2-5/8" x 11/16" natural butterfly wing bar pin, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1925. This pin features a reverse painted bird backed with butterfly wing. It has a c-clasp, it weighs 4.3 grams and it is in excellent original condition with no cracks, dents, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a tiny center scrape and corner chip on the glass and some minor bending to the pin. Formed as a square panel with rounded corners, featuring an incised seaweed-like design enhanced by oxidation, this Joseph Skinger design is called "Pine Needle." The pin has its original rollover clasp, which is quite secure. It is marked sterling and has Skinger’s script signature. Joseph Skinger was a Vermont studio metalsmith who was most productive during the 1950s and 1960s; he died in 1967. The pin measures a little over 1 3/8 inches square. Weight: 7.5 grams

This pair of 14kt gold, oval, two-sided cuff links is a very fine example of early 20th-century American jewelry-making. They are mounted with discs of mother-of-pearl, and each side is set with a tiny seed pearl. The edges are intricately engraved with geometric designs; the cuff links show hardly any signs of wear. The secure connecting figure-eight bars bear the maker’s mark of Larter & Sons, of Newark, NJ. They measure 5/8 inch long by a little over 3/8 inch wide.

This is a handsome set of 14K gold and onyx square shaped cufflinks, the brushed gold face so finely made that it appears to look like a glimmering piece of raw silk, with a thin black onyx border, toggle stamped 14K and makers mark and 14K stamped on back. Wt: 14.7 g. Measurements: 10/16 in diameter, Condition is excellent.

This great 14Kt yellow gold bar pin dates back to circa 1920. The top is decorated by an openwork design and centered by a 3 milimeter round faceted natural blue sapphire. The pin is 2 ½” long and 3/16” wide.

A sassy dragon curled around a large amethyst-colored brilliant (yes, it’s glass) hides the hook that turns this into a watch pin. He has a dark red cabochon eye (probably also glass) and a colorless brilliant in his mouth. The pin is unmarked and is 1” by ¾” in size. The metal is vermeil (gold over silver). A round hinge and eared clasp suggest an age of late 1800s or early 1900s, but the exact age is unknown.

A gorgeous pair of sterling clip back earrings with wire wrapped blue topaz stones by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs. They measure 1 1/4" by 1 1/8"and weigh 18 grams total. The cabochon blue topaz is slightly darker than the camera captures and these stones are free of chips or cracks. Fine original condition and signed as shown. This 14Kt two tone gold and diamond ring is from the 1930’s. this antique Tibetan pendant may have originally been used as earring or clothing ornament. I have slipped a simple black cord so it can now be used as a necklace. I suspect that many pieces were comprised of inter-changeable elements so if you had this set and a different pin/pendant out of her “hand-hammered” line, for example, you could theoretically attach to this chain and enjoy that second brooch as a necklace too...
