A very uniquely shaped broach/pendant is this 14Kt white gold filigree shell cameo from the 1920-s depicting the silhouette of a young lady. Art nouveau elements are incorporated in the designs of the cameo carving as well as the shape of the broach resembling a flower basket. The 1 7/8” wide and 1 3/8” high broach has a fold down bail that makes it wearable as a pendant.

Pendant composed of the inside of a conch shell that is mounted in wound sterling silver wire. The chain of twisted sterling silver bands is stamped 925 and has a secure pressure hook clasp. Each connecting ring is soldered closed. Clasped, the necklace measures 17 inches long, including the pendant.

Composed of three outwardly curved hinged panels embossed with scenes of Mexican country life. It is secured by a tongue-and-groove clasp and a security chain. The back of the clasp bears the circular mark of CJB; the maker’s name of Diaz Santoyo is impressed on the tongue in block letters (there is no image of this part of the mark). This oval Kramer of New York champagne and root beer and clear colored rhinestone pin is 1 3/4" in diameter on the long side. However, it has 4 rhinestones below the oval to bring the length dimension to 2 1/4" and add three dimensional depth to this pin. This pin is in excellent condition.

A vintage 15-1/2" knotted 3/8" turquoise glass bead necklace with a gold plated ball insert clasp c1950s. This necklace has a tag which says MADE IN U.S.A. which exactly resembles the tags used by Vogue jewellery of New York (1936-77?). Spratling designed this eye catching "entwined hands" buckle in the late 1940's. Measuring 5" X 2 1/4" & weighing 49 grams the piece is in beautiful condition. The back loops will accommodate up to a 1 inch strap. The buckle can also be worn as a pendant. Spratling also designed a similar "hands" necklace. Hallmarks are WS 925. A later version, (c.1965) of this buckle appears on p. 147 of WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE by Penny Morrill.

We have a unique design of heavy repousse touched off with amethyst. No dents or damage and fits most with a 2.5in. diameter. The height is 1.75 making this a noticeable piece on the wrist. Marked Mexico Silver and weighs 64 grams.

Composed of two rectangular layers of sterling silver, top one curved and with a cutout comma-shaped design exposing a highly oxidized interior. Most unusual bookchain necklace made of 10K rose gold links alternating with yellow gold-filled links, 14K yellow gold spring ring clasp. Can be worn alone with the clasp in the back, or with a pendant or locket attached (spring ring clasp in front). Total length is 18 inches,links are approximately .25 inches wide. I have never seen a bookchain necklace like this one. Done in a victorian style, probably dates to the 1940s.

A fine, modernist sterling silver ring by the California studio jeweler, Gerald Stinn, (1937-2019). His pieces were sold to major museums and are on permanent display at the Smithsonian Museum in D.C.
