The Charles Horner company of Halifax was renowned for beautiful silver and enamel Arts & Crafts jewelry. This moth pin is sterling silver with blue and turquoise enamel and is 1 3/4" wide. It is fully hallmarked, for Chester, England, 1908, and carries the Charles Horner maker's mark.

Very nice pair of Victorian 14K gold cufflinks in the Arts & Crafts or Aesthetic style. The simple engraved decoration of the gold faces, suggestive of a Celtic design, is typical of jewelry in the Aesthetic taste, as is the use of matrix gemstones such as turquoise. These stones were valued more for their appearance than for their intrinsic worth--another characteristic of Aesthetic jewelry. The back faces are plain gold. Tested and guaranteed 14K.

The heart on either side of the center stone says it all, what this ring is all about. The center diamond is an approximately 0.16Ct brilliant cut diamond that has I color and SI2 clarity, and set in a miracle setting. On either side of the center stone there are two single-cut diamonds one of which is set in a heart shape design. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.20Ct. The ring is a size 5 ¼ and it can easily be sized.

An elegant pair of earrings featuring Type A (untreated) green jadeite beads and 14K yellow gold beads taken from an ornate antique Chinese necklace (ca. 1900) that was far too worn to salvage. The jadeite beads are semi-translucent, with even coloring and moderately-fine texture. The gold beads have applied vermicelli decoration. Unusual mid-century modernist organist or brutalist panel bracelet. Clearly handmade and unique, as each panel is different from the next. Wonderful motion and dimensionality, as there are pierces, raised areas and spikes rising from the bracelet. Unsigned, tests as sterling. Measures 7" in length and 5/8" wide.

A very nicely matched high luster strand of 19" long graduated cultured pearl necklace. The strand has 83 pearls graduating from 3 3/4 mm to 9 1/2 mm. The clasp is 14 kt pink gold centered by an approximately 0.05Ct old-mine diamond. The pearls are newly restrung.

This is an ANTIQUE ONYX AND GOLD FILLED FOB with a GRECO ROMAN SOLDIER INTAGLIO. The size of the FOB is 11/16" X 1 1/4" long including the ring; the Fob alone minus the Large Chased Ring measures 11/16" X 11/16". A substantial set from Taxco's "middle period" this stunning necklace and earrings demi combines chunky cylinders of azur-malachite with shadow-box sterling box links. The result is quite impressive as the primarily green hues of the stone (the malachite is predominant here) are tempered by the variegated brown of the inclusions, all colors finally reflected in the glowing silver. I love a good chain necklace and this example combines good length with a presence that will never go unattended...

This vintage solid 14Kt yellow gold (not hollow) cocker spaniel charm/pendant is a casting. The very personable cocker would make a perfect addition to any charm bracelet, or can be worn as a single pendant. The length is 11/16” and the width is ½”.

A most elegant unsigned piece. The translucent glass stones shimmer in a rich red color. The stones are very interesting since the front side of the large square stones are beveled, while the under side of those stones are dome shaped with a carved checkerboard pattern. This makes all the more shimmer when the piece moves. The age of the necklace is hard to determine, probably mid 1900's, possibly the 1940's...

Being offered is a rare and fine circa 1963 sterling silver brooch by Sigfrido ‘SIGI’ Pineda of Taxco, Mexico. Modern boomerang design with an oxidized background; and non faceted amethyst stone. Sigi, cousin of Los Castillo founder, Antonio Castillo, spent years working with Los Castillo, Salvador Teran, Felipe Martinez, and Margot de Taxco before opening his own shop in 1952. An unusual pair of twisted Taxco, Mexico Sterling Silver earrings with bronze or copper ends by William Spratling. We have not been able to find another pair in this design. Measure 3/4" across and 5/8' high. Marked on the back of each screw back with Spratling Silver which was used from 1940-44. Screw backs hold securely. Have some tarnish, a tiny ding and minor scratches. Great design. Pre Eagle.

Elegant Napoleon III 18K gold brooch in the Etruscan Revival taste. The pin is in bar form with pointed ends, interrupted in the middle by a round black onyx plaque centering a natural seed pearl. The domed setting around the onyx is set with six natural seed pearls. The pin on either side of the onyx plaque is decorated with an engraved Greek key design. The reverse is hallmarked with the "tete d'aigle" stamp for 18K gold and also with an unidentified jeweler's mark.
