These beautiful sterling silver cufflinks are marked for Unger Bros and sterling. The flower-patterned ovals are linked by chain and are the epitome of Art Nouveau. One oval, darn it, is a plain replacement. Each oval is 7/8" x 3/4". Circa 1910.

This sophisticated, cleanly designed ring features an onyx cabochon mounted in the center of a carnelian disc, set in 14kt gold. Both stones are in lovely condition; the gold band is unmarked, but has been tested for gold content. The ring dates from the 1960s, and has a classy, "mod" look that reads mid- to late 1960s. The setting measures about 3/4 inch in diameter and about 1/4 inch high. The ring is a size 6 1/2-7.

Signed pre 1950 by E.S. The height is 4 inches and the diameter is a 2.5in. wide making it perfect for a push up the arm to work comfortably. The weight is 65 grams heavy and is with no dents or damage. A brand new spring has been added to make it ready to go for another 70 years. The repousse is magnificent and the bead work shows the workmanship and time that went into the production of this treasure.

A handsome set of two-sided cufflinks, the round faces enhanced with off-centered concentric engraved lines radiating out from the sapphires. A vintage hammered sterling silver circles necklace and bangle bracelet in the style of the American Studio Modernist jeweler, John Lewis. These examples are both signed 'jb' and sterling, but it is unclear who this was and if they had any relationship to Lewis. They are even signed the same way but with jb instead of the crossed JL.

A fine and very heavy pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks the in the “stirrup” (“etrier”) style popularized by Cartier in the late Art Deco period. The cufflinks are formed as sharply arched bands of open curb link chain. The hinged closing mechanism is hidden inside the cuff when the cufflinks are being worn. Each cufflink is fully hallmarked with French “tete d’aigle” hallmarks for 18K gold and with a master goldsmith’s mark.

This charming 14 k gold pin is an homage to a moment in American history. The Daughters of Liberty was formed ~1766, shortly after the Sons of Liberty. This group of brave women boycotted British products and made use of traditional women's skills such as weaving and spinning, to support the cause of liberty. The pin bears an enameled flag, initials, the number five, and the date 1860. It is 1 X 1/1/2" in size.

Admittedly my favorite Mexican modernist, Salvador Teran seems to have never had a "bad" moment during his career. There is not one piece of his that I have come upon which I have not loved for its quirky abstraction, its sometimes tongue-in-cheek genius, its magical way of playing with layers, abstraction and oxidation. The mod pendant presented here provides a good illustration, I believe, of the point I am trying to make...

Formed as hollow cast discs, embossed and chased with elaborate floral designs, and bezel-set with carnelian beads – one of which shows a partial hole to one side. The earrings are secured with working clip backs; the maker’s impressed mark looks like Zuoco or Zocco. The earrings measure 1 ¼ inches in diameter.

A French silver watch chain with a button hook on one end and a locking swivel on the other. The beauty of this chain is its absolute simplicity. It would look great paired with additional silver chains of various styles to create a longer necklace. Paired correctly, the button hook would make a superb hook for a locket or charms. A very delicate and colorful bracelet, featuring gilded silver filigreed panels enhanced with blue and green enamel. The enamel is in lovely condition, with only tiny areas of loss. The tongue-and-groove clasp is very secure and shows some wear due to use (the clasp is silverplated). There is also a gold-filled safety chain not original to the bracelet. Looking like three dimensional lace, this bracelet by Tortolani is magnificent, and it is rare! Each piece of Tortolani was hand-cast in pewter. Pieces were hand polished and finished in silver or gold plate. The bracelet is signed inside. 7" inside circumference, 1 5/8" wide, 3/8" thick.

Lovely signed Mikimoto flower-form brooch in 18K yellow gold set with pearls. The flower petals are made up of very fine quality 6-6.5mm pearls, estimated at AA. The nacre is thick and very lustrous. The body color is white with green/rose overtones. The back of the pin is marked with Mikimoto’s hallmark and the gold content.

A reversible gold pendant featuring a green and amber colored jade koi fish. The pendant is marked 14k Gump's. The gold shows some discoloration and would benefit from a buffing. This bracelet is a rare find. It is wonderfully bold, unusual and rare. It consists of 5 panel links of sparkly gold, crescent moon flecks, under convex Lucite, with a white background. A very rare pair of 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces designed as fearsome lion-like gargoyles. Each snarling mouth grasps an old mine cut diamond, and the eyes are set with small emerald cabochons. The fur is pierced and detailed in a way that suggests the stone fretwork of Gothic cathedrals. The faces are joined by arch connectors to bean backs. The connectors are stamped with the mark for Schira Bros. of Cincinnati, Ohio. Tested and guaranteed 14K.
