A vintage sterling silver cuff bracelet from Taxco, Mexico. Measures approximately 5 1/2" around with a 1 1/4" opening. Just shy of about 2" wide. Marked LDH, Mexico, and 925 for Sterling. Also has the Eagle #8 mark. In very good condition, some minor surface scratches. Has some minor indentations along the edges at back. Weighs 77 grams. Feels great on.

Figural sterling letter opener, by George Shiebler, Brooklyn,NY, c.1895. Has a Victorian/art nouveau figure of a winged draped nude female figure at the top of the curved dagger with "ER" script initials. Signed "STERLING S/wings(for Shiebler) 4292" and measures 4" long. A fine modernist 18K yellow gold ring set with an intricately carved aquamarine in the "forma livre" (free form) style. Haroldo Burle Marx was particularly known for his use of large gemstones, often fashioned by carving or tumbling rather than being faceted, a technique he invented in 1948. The color of this aquamarine is quite nice—almost a Prussian blue. The gold mounting is decorated with the fine florentined engraving often seen on Marx pieces...

An early Victorian oval-shaped English "Sincerity" locket made by the Robinson & Co LTD in 1831, featuring a spectacular stylized and geometric engraved fern pattern symbolizing sincerity, with original twig-shape bale and original frame, hinged to display a photo. The exterior back with no engraving and hallmarked R & Co, Birmingham, England, Old English Letter H. Wt: 13.6g; Size: 1 7/8" long x 1 1/2" wide; Condition is excellent. Minor indentation on reverse.

Marked Santos, Taxco, 925 for sterling and Eagle #3.

Measures 7" around and 3/4" wide.

Has a tongue and box closure which snaps securely.

Has some tarnish and minor nicks and scratches. Weighs 46 Gr.

This lovely bracelet is decorated with white guilloché enameled rectangular panels alternating with similar square ones featuring dark blue flowers. The silver is highly gilded; the tongue-and-groove clasp is original and in good working order. The bracelet bears the mark of Norwegian maker David-Andersen. It measures 7 ½ inches long by ½ inch wide. Weight: 24.5 grams

Napier silver plate over brass, c1955, three strand bracelet with center overlapping talon ends holding coral ceramic balls. It is 8 1/4" (20.9 cm) long and the three wheat chain strands together are 1 3/8" (3.8 cm) wide, not including the ceramic balls. They are each 3/4" (2.2 cm) in diameter. The bracelet was designed by Eugene Bertilli and is signed Napier on the clasp. It is in beautiful vintage condition with no plate loss that I could spot.

A pair of Portuguese gilt sterling silver earrings with glass stones from the 1960s 1970s. These attractive stamped earrings have star and stippled decoration and turquoise and black onyx glass cabochon stones. The are for pierced ears, they weigh 4.9 grams and they measure 1-1/8 x 15/16". They have Portuguese silver marks on the ear wires and they are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs. All condition issues are noted...

Circa 1940-1945, this masterpiece from Los Castillo pulls out all the stops. The craftsmanship is magnificent, the design sublime. The prong set faceted stones are almost black in color, with brown striations which can be seen from the back of the stones. The design is full of swirls and tiny beading. Centerpiece has six dangles and measures 5 1/2" wide and 2 1/4" tall. Closed, wearable length is 17". Weight is 112.7 grams...

A late Victorian pendant (also has a brooch fitting) in the Arts & Crafts style featuring an Australian semi-black boulder opal of fine quality. The gemstone has large strong flashes of green and blue, moderated with some violet and just a hint of orange-red. The medium-dark body color creates an excellent contrast to the spectral colors, and the play-of-color shows equally in all directions...

A lovely mid-19th century locket worked in 18K yellow gold set with rubies and natural seed pearls. The setting is enhanced with geometric appliques, engine-turned engraving, rope twists, and a beautifully fashioned bow concealing the bail. The rubies have very good color and are unheated. The locket retains its original reeded jump ring, as well. The back is decorated with engine-turned engraving. The interior retains the original gold frame and glass cover...
