This is a vintage modernist design ring in 10k yellow gold c1950s-60. It features three round graduated black Alaskan diamonds (Hematite) in the shape and colour of black pearls. This size 4-1/2 ring is 1/2" across the stones and 7/16" wide. The stones range from 3-5 mm., this ring weighs 3.5 grams, and it is stamped 10K with a maker's mark. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

A Labradorite sterling silver pendant on chain necklace from the 1950s (or earlier). This 1 x 7/8" pendant features a clear and white striped Labradorite stone with underlaying blue fire and it comes with a later 18-1/8" fine link chain with a springring clasp. The (tested) pendant is unmarked and the chain is faintly stamped ST with a possible maker's mark. It weighs 4.3 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs...

A vintage modernist sterling silver heavy brooch consisting of three intertwined circles by noted Mid Century jeweler, Bill Tendler. Measures 2 1/8" across. Marked TENDLER Sterling. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Nice contrast of dark and light and thick and thin sterling. Well crafted, quality piece.

These teardrop-shaped earrings feature purple, grey, violet and black feathers enclosed between pieces of resin or a clear composite. A cut-out zigzag design reveals the feathers through the sterling silver frame. The earrings show some tarnish; they have not been aggressively cleaned to avoid damaging the inserts. The screwbacks are in good working order; one exhibits the eagle 3 mark for Mexican sterling, the other, an unidentified geometrical maker’s mark...

Wonderfully designed hand made necklace by MAYA, Mexico, c.1950's after a Hubert Harmon design. Maya frequently copied Harmon designs. Looks just like silver with a great patina, but probably made of silver plate because there are no Mexican silver marks. The locking mechanism is separated from the main part by black velvet ribbon. Signed by Hector Aguilar this "Mask" parure is known to be designed by Valentin Vidauretta. When you look at two links side by side they form a mask. The link is 6/8th's inch tall with the parure weighing 91 grams. The silver is thick and speaks volumes with it's sleek presence. The bracelet is 7in. long, necklace is 16.25 in. long and the earrings are 1.25in. long. No damage or flaws and this is collector, museum quality. Exceptionally scarce, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Sterling silver and 14 karat gold bangle bracelet, set with three pearls and three rubies, each mounted in yellow gold. The gems are set equidistant from one another. This handsome, handmade Italian sterling silver bracelet by Peruzzi is composed of linked openwork oval and round frames holding applied flowers and leaves. The flowers look to have been hand constructed, petal-by-petal. The hook clasp and safety chain are very secure; the inside of the bracelet bears the Peruzzi and sterling marks. The surface is highly tarnished, despite an attempt at cleaning; it can be brightened up a bit more...

Rare modernist earrings by Irvin and Bonnie Burkee, a husband and wife team who created unique jewelry in their studio from the late 1940s until the 1970s. The minimalist aesthetic sterling silver earrings are circa 1950s, and feature discs each decorated by a single silver sphere. The earrings are screw-backs, and the tops measure .75" in diameter. This amazing bracelet is one of Antonio Pineda's most important and impressive designs and is often referred to as the "Cage" Bracelet. Crafted in Antonio's favored 970 grade silver it is a massive piece measuring 7 1/2" long by 1 1/2" wide at the front tapering to 1" at the back and it weighs an impressive 134.4 grams. A vintage modernist sterling silver cuff bracelet by Danish silversmith, Palle Bisgaard in a tiered curved shape. His torque necklace, part of this same line is included in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This is the widest version of this cuff, with an extra tier at the bottom edge.

Measures about 5 1/2" around with an opening of 1" and 3/4" at the widest. There does not appear to be much give so it is better for an average to slender wrist.

A modernist brooch by noted mid century silversmith, Frances Holmes Boothby in Sterling Silver and Ebony. This large marlin measures 3 3/4" long and 1 1/2" tall. Lightly hammered. Marked fhb, Sterling on the back. Has a safety rollover clasp that holds tightly. Nice condition, just a few minor scratches and a little tarnish. A wonderful example of Mid Century Modern jewelry.

A fine pair of vintage 18K yellow gold cufflinks in the "stirrup" style popularized by Cartier in the late 1940s. The cufflinks are constructed from a solid bar, finished at each end with interlocking arches. By pulling on the ends, the arches can be unfolded for each in putting the cufflinks through the cuff holes. Then, a simple flip up causes the arches to hold the fabric tightly together. Cufflinks of the sort are seen in a number of variations, but this is a particularly handsome pair...

An attractive pair of mid-century 14K gold cufflinks, the faces divided diagonally into contrasting triangles. On each face, one triangle is deeply ribbed, while the smooth portion features a gypsy-set diamond. The angularity of the design makes for a very modernistic appeal. The diamonds are graded as J/I2. Classic Haskell--great design and top quality material--this brooch was probably designed by Frank Hess for Miriam Haskell. These classic Deco design 14Kt gold and onyx cuff-links sport hexagonal onyx columns held by gold collars. The toggle backs are 14Kt yellow gold and the springs work well. The onyx columns are ¾” long. The cuff-links are in excellent condition.

Absolutely stunning on with a length of 7 inches and a weight of a solid 68 grams. Hallmark correctly shown for Antonio Pineda. The presence is sleek at just under 1 inch. Each moonstone is framed with two caviar balls. The moonstones glow a beautiful blue and there is no damage or repairs. There is some patina but not heavy leaving to buyer to decide for their own personal taste. Clasp is tight and closes with a click. An excellent example from the Mexican Silver Renaissance.

An outstanding lantern-shaped Etruscan-style 18K gold charm/pendant featuring coral cabochons. The gold surfaces are worked with intricate beading and twisted wirework. The decorative gold work is among the best we’ve seen on this type of charm. The coral has pure orange-red color and nice polish. A vintage modernist sterling silver ring with a greyish brown moonstone like cabochon by noted silversmith, Maxwell Chayat. Measures size 7.5. Marked with a partially struck Chayat and Sterling. The ring is in very nice condition, with some tarnish. There is a little bit of roughness to the edge of the cabochon, but most likely was done during production. It was probably resized at one point. Well made and heavy, great mid century design.

A substantial and heavily oxidized sterling bracelet by Jose Luis Flores. An apprentice of Spratling, Flores also worked in the ateliers of Hector Aguiar,Miguel Martinez and Emma Melendez.
