It's been a very long time since I offered a Mexican clamper bracelet and I am happy to be starting again with a classic Taxco design, this repousse and shadowbox "Quetzalcoatl" example. The maestro who signs it I am familiar with - he worked in Taxco and it seems that clamper bracelets were one of his favorite forms...

Signed by Graziella Laffi, the often referred-to as "Spratling of Peru" this bird brooch can also be found with blue enamel adorning its eye. Executed in all-silver in our case, with hand-etched and stippled details, I like to think of it as a pelican or even a seagull, maybe because she has used the same motif in necklace and bracelet form as well but combined with fish-shaped stations...

A fine pair of French 18K gold, enamel and sapphire cufflinks. The round faces are decorated with champleve enamel in a soft translucent French blue shade surrounded by a border of opaque white with gold accents. Each face is centered with a sapphire sugarloaf cabochon. The faces are connected with chains to gold torpedo backs. Each cufflink is stamped with French 18K gold marks.

A classic pair of 14K yellow gold barbell cufflinks by Tiffany & Co. The spherical faces are worked in a brushed finish that gives the cufflinks a soft glow. Marked "14K Tiffany & Co."

Large copper stylized ram's head pin made by Rebajes, c.1940s. The pin is in excellent and very clean condition. The pin measures 2 7/8" x 1 7/8".

This Bracelet is a design most recognized by Fred Davis. Hallmarked Mexico Silver and being 7.25in. long and 1.5in. tall makes this bracelet quite a statement maker. The bezels are very well made and there are no dents or chips to the stones or silver. Even though it has an open air design it still weighs 65 grams heavy. Very soft and silky to the touch it is a pleasure to wear.

A handsome pair of cufflinks and three matching shirt studs in 18K yellow gold set with blue sapphires. The faces are fashioned as knots, the individual gold “threads” textured in a rope-twist motif for added interest. Each knot is centered with a brilliant round-cut blue sapphire. The sapphires have nice color saturation, and the gold is quite heavy. Each cufflink is marked “18K”...

Fabulous early signed Kenneth J. Lane clip drop earrings in dark goldtone metal with marquise green poured glass stones and rhinestones, with three strands. All stones are prong set. Magnificent, rare vintage sterling and coral circular shaped petit point ring by Zuni Edith Tsatbetsaye , circa 1970. Many silversmiths created petit point pieces, but this silversmith took the art to an extreme. This ring is set with semicircular high domed and arched stones, this cut being her trademark. A fine Retro brooch worked in 14K yellow gold and set with diamonds and blue sapphires. The brooch is shaped as a stylized bow when worn vertically or a comet when worn sideways. The gold surfaces are pierced to lighten the overall effect. The center is set with a cluster of round brilliant and single-cut diamonds (J/SI1) surrounded by blue sapphires of slightly violetish-blue color and excellent clarity. Ca 1940 Here is another early bracelet and necklace with hematite stones created by Laurence Foss, a designer at Georg Jensen. The stones are in perfect condition and the silver has a lovely patina. Both the necklace and bracelet are marked with the Foss stamp Sterling. The bracelet is also marked 416A while the necklace, 416-1/2. The bracelet measures 7" x 3/4"and weighs 25.5 grams; the necklace is 15-1/2" including hook and weighs 33grams. A lovely collector's piece.

A fine 18K multicolor gold and diamond gentleman's dress watch by Van Cleef & Arpels. The octagonal face is decorated with finely engraved alternating bands of 18K yellow and white gold in a herringbone pattern. The white gold bezel is pave-set with round brilliant-cut diamonds. The stem is topped with a bezel-set diamond and the lugs are also pave-set. The watch retains its original black silk strap, the gold buckle also set with diamonds. A rare and very interesting pair of flip-up stirrup cufflinks in 14K yellow gold by Carrington. Each end of the connectors are fitted with a green nephrite jade cabochon. This style was popularized by Cartier, and this is the only we’ve seen by the great American maker, Carrington. The use of nephrite is most unusual, as well, instead of the more common onyx or dark blue sapphire. Each cufflink is stamped with Carrington’s 14K hallmark.
