Spratling designed this eye catching "entwined hands" buckle in the late 1940's. Measuring 5" X 2 1/4" & weighing 49 grams the piece is in beautiful condition. The back loops will accommodate up to a 1 inch strap. The buckle can also be worn as a pendant. Spratling also designed a similar "hands" necklace. Hallmarks are WS 925. A later version, (c.1965) of this buckle appears on p. 147 of WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE by Penny Morrill.

Huge red pear shaped rhinestone eyes predominate on the rabbits face., His red enamel teeth give him a silly grin. The brooch is 2 1/2" x 1 1/2". Karu jewelry was produced by Kaufman & Rederman of New York.

A vintage modernist sterling silver brooch designed by Gertrude Engel for Anton Michelsen, from Sweden. Measure 1 5/8" across and 1 3/8" high. Has a brown swirled oval cabochon. Marked with the MIC hallmark and the three crowns silver standard mark used by Anton Michelsen when in Stockholm, Sweden from 1946-63. Also marked with S for the town mark, A9 for 1951 and Engel. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Silver has a warm patina...

A 14k cultured pearls leaves pin. This great looking and classy 1-5/8" x 1" textured 14K gold brooch has seven 5mm. genuine cultured pearls c1950. This 14k solid gold pin (unmarked but tested and guaranteed to be gold) has a safety catch, the pearls have nice deep pinkish lustre, it weighs 6.4 grams, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Decorated with curled thick silver wire within rectangular frames. The frames are connected with curved flat panels; the frames are decorated with small nicks to imitate tool marks. The back of each frame is marked sterling; two have the complete maker’s mark of a conjoined JM, for New York jewelry artisan Joseph Masaniello. The bracelet measures 8 inches long by 5/8 inch wide. Weight: 34.5 grams

Beautiful handmade Scandinavian modernist sterling pin by Stil, Denmark, c.1950's. Lovely design, it is signed "STIL- STERLING DENMARK" and is in excellent condition. This dimensional heavy gauge silver pin measures 2 3/4" wide by 1 3/8" high. Strong design makes this a compelling piece....$8 USA insured shipping plus applicable NY tax.

These petite earrings feature central disks of faux turquoise set in pinwheel-like frames, reminiscent of southwest U.S. or Mexican design. They have working screw backs and can be easily converted to posts. The screws are marked sterling with a capital F in circle, possibly for George H. Fuller & Son, Pawtucket, RI. (The mark may apply to the fittings only.) They measure ½ inch in diameter.

This necklace exhibits a strong presence. A dark amethyst stone glows in strong light and has no chips, damage or cracks. The wearable is 16.5 inches and you can hook it in to any of the chain length to shorten. The silver is very thick and is a wonderful example of folk style repousse. Puffy and not exactly symmetrical is what makes the magic happen when you put this on. The drop is 4.5 inches across and 3 in. down. Just beautiful, LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

A large hand tooled 2-1/16" diameter Mexican sterling silver Mayan calendar pin or brooch c1950s. This pin has a safety clasp and it is stamped HECHO EN MEXICO STERLING 925 with a 38 bell mark. Beto has shown us quality plus original designs to everything that I have seen. His work was always made with thick silver and this set has a total weight is 93 grams heavy. Every link in this set is 6/16th of an inch tall and 1.75in.across. The length is 15in. plus with the necklace built on a curve it adds a bit more length. The stones are barrel cut and they are darker than they appear in most of the photos. No chips or damage to any part of this well loved and cared for grouping...
