Oval shaped pendant decorated with surface decoratrion and bits of gold detailing, all circling a large lapis lazula stone... This pendant was brought out of China sometime in th 60s/70s...along with many other vintage bits and pieces of old jewelry collected thoughout of China...

I have had this mod Taxco bracelet a few times over the years - also in ring, earrings and brooch form. And I never tire of it! The example at hand is signed by maestro Moreno and it has the beguiling sculpturality that makes the design memorable. Two perfectly crafted silver spheres sitting on stylized leaves - that is all yet it is so much more. Gutsy, slick and eye-catching at the same time - definitely a bracelet for the daring among us...

A geometric silver bracelet from Mexico with seven bezel set dome shaped stones. The stones range in color from tan to pale green, not sure what they are.

Marked Silver Mexico. Measures 7 1/4" long and 1 1/2" wide. Hook clasp holds securely. Has some minor surfaces scratches and a little tarnish.

Striking design. Great hand wrought feel. Early piece.

Rope designs were used exclusively in Spratling's 1st design period, 1931-46. This amethyst & 980 sterling pendant measures 2" X 1 3/4" X 1 3/8". The box is suspended by a heavy sterling Spratling chain measuring 24" long. Both box and chain are in beautiful condition. The circular clasp is tight and secure. Fully hallmarked WS 980 TAXCO. Rare and spectacular sterling bangle bracelet with inlaid black onyx polka dots by Los Ballesteros circa 1945. This big, bold , amazing piece measures 7" around in the inside total. It is 1 1/2" wide at the widest front section and tapers to 3/4" in the back. It is hinged and opens and closes on the side. Weighing 116 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed as shown...

A striking pair of David-Andersen sterling silver double-sided cufflinks, the faces decorated with guilloche enamel in a translucent deep red shade. The underlying engine-turned engraving is in a sunburst pattern. The hinged connectors are marked with appropriate sterling silver hallmarks and the maker’s mark used from 1925.

Completely handmade, this sterling silver pin is formed similar to a stylized sprig of lily-of-the-valley. It also bears an engraved inscription on the back that reads: “Anna F. Davies/The College Settlement of Philadelphia/1898-1941.” Davies was a founder of the settlement movement, and ran this settlement house during those years. The pin is also marked sterling and has a secure safety catch. It measures 3 1/8 inches long by about 1 inch wide. Weight: 19.5 grams

Amethyst sterling screwback earrings by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1947. They each have a cabochon amethyst which measures 3/4" in diameter. They are appropriately signed. One of the stones has a natural fracture(see photo #1) which is very highlighted in the ENLARGED photo #1, but does not appear that way in person. A antique necklace from Yemen with 11 butterscotch resin beads accented by ornate silver beads.One or two beads show wear where someone tested them for amber.The width of the beads range from 7/8" to 1" and the necklace measures 22-7/8".

A picture is worth a thousand words, they say, and in preparing to offer this fantastic find of mine, I am putting my trust in popular wisdom. When one has been dealing in vintage Mexican silver jewelry for as long a time as I have, one tends to hear that little "devil" in one's ear louder and louder, claiming that there is nothing new or exciting left to be encountered. Thankfully though, life and the old maestros of Taxco still keep some aces hidden up their sleeve...

A classic design that gives a tailored look to this 18Kt yellow gold men’s ring which is centered by an approximately 0.30 Ct brilliant cut diamond. The diamond is flanked by a round faceted natural blue sapphire on either side. The approximate total weight of the two sapphires is 0.60Ct. The ring is size 9 but it can easily be sized.

A beautifully executed pin that features a bezel-mounted oval dyed green chalcedony or chrysoprase, surrounded by a layer of leafy flowers and berries. This layer is composed of cast pieces individually applied to a serpentine wirework frame reminiscent of late arts and crafts design; dating would be 1930s or 1940s. The pin has a lovely patina from age and the stone retains its highly polished surface, exhibiting hardly any wear. The rollover clasp is very secure...

A wonderful vintage bracelet and matching pair of screw back earrings from Taxco by Victoria ~ Ana Maria Nunez de Brilanti in her 'Double Shadowbox Angel' design.

The bracelet measures 7 3/4" long by 1 1/8" wide. It closes by inserting a pin through interlocking cylinders. The bracelet is marked on the back Victoria, Taxco, Mexico, Sterling, and Style #53. This is the heavier and wider version of the bracelet.

Earrings drop down about 1". They measure 3/4" across...

An older double knotted strand of malachite beads. The goldwash filigree clasp is marked China. The necklace measures 25-1/2", the beads are 1/4" in width (6.35mm) and the piece weighs 72 grams.

Excellent, elegant circa 1940s necklace by William Spratling, arguably the most important name in Mexican Silver. Heavy for it's size, this solid liquid silver necklace is constructed of hollow silver bars over seven silver chains of variying lengths. This design is understated, and extremely rare. The shortest chain measures just under 15" in length. The necklace is authentic and bears Spratling's circa 1940s stamp. Excellent vintage condition.

This linked handmade silver bracelet features a series of hammered, oxidized panels with scalloped edges. The applied decoration consists of leaves and stylized vines in a pinwheel pattern, reminiscent of late arts and crafts design; the pinwheel motif is repeated on the four-lobed connecting links.
