A fine pair of mid-19th century 14K yellow gold double-faced cufflinks set with banded agate and gold-bearing quartz. A handsome pair of late Victorian cufflinks worked in 18K yellow gold with platinum accents around oval bloodstone cabochons. This charming pin is the embodiment of Victorian design. A very stylized butterfly perches on a row of 'gold' ball-shaped dangles. The butterfly is centered with a colorless brilliant, and flanked by small ruby pastes at each side. As was common at the time in the Victorian era, a matching stickpin acts as a safety feature as well as being pretty. The pin is a generous 1 1/2" and is gold filled. There is a maker's mark PC Co. A very fine and heavy pair of French 18K gold cufflinks in the Aesthetic taste. The faces are hand-pierced and patinated in a bronze-brown shade with darker highlights in the recesses. Oval, with rolled edges, engraved and etched with a scrolled, leafy motif. The buttons are connected by sturdy bridge chains. The cuff links were made by J. & R. Griffin Ltd., of Birmingham, bearing Chester hallmarks for 9kt gold and the year 1925. They measure about 3/4 inch long by 1/2 inch wide. Weight: 3.8 grams total

Elegant pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces decorated with a stamped pattern of baskets filled with diamond-set flowers. The single-cut diamonds, though small, are of very good quality and are a nice contrast to the gold. The gold surfaces have the bloomed texture usually seen in French jewelry of the period. The connecting chains are hallmarked for 18K gold and are signed “R.W.C.”.

An E A Bliss gold plated buckle design sash brooch circa 1895. This hand engraved pin measures 3-1/8" x 1-5/8" and has the original c-clasp. Each of batons has a lobed device at each end similar to the head on a 16/17th century Ottoman ceremonial mace used to connote that the bearer carried the full authority of the Sultan Khan. A very fine pair of Victorian figural cufflinks worked in 14K yellow gold. The front faces are in the shape of ceremonial Scottish halberds. The shafts are set with round and antique cushion cut rubies and the heads are set with rose-cut diamonds. The rubies have nicely saturated color that contrasts well with the glitter of the diamonds. The rubies show no indications of heat treatment and their internal characteristics suggest they are of Burmese origin...

An extraordinary pair of French Art Nouveau 18K yellow gold enameled cufflinks, the faces featuring flowers bearing a secret message. In Victorian symbology, the daisy represented "innocence" or "purity", whereas the red poppy meant "pleasure". Taken together, the choice of flowers in these cufflinks was certainly intended to convey an erotic sentiment. The faces are beautifully hand-pierced and highlighted with translucent enamels in delicate shades of green, rosy red and whitish-yellow...

This is a fine pair of Victorian 10K gold cuff links with leaf motif, American, circa 1896, marked on back 10 CT. Measurements: 3/4 in high; Good vintage condition with minor wear. A class act!

This hollow silver anklet is from the Nuristani area of Afghanistan. With the loose metal rattle rolling inside the hollow space, a soft noise was created as the wearer moves. This anklet has nice patina and has a few minor dents, which attest to the age and travels of the artifact.

These highly decorative cuff links, made by Gorham Co. of Providence, RI, feature deeply embossed scrolls enhanced with green enamel paint. The bar on the back of one of the links looks to have been replaced, though it appears to be of the period. While the bar on one is marked sterling, the bar on the other appears to have been silver-plated, with most of the base metal now showing. All of the discs are marked on the reverse with the Gorham sterling mark, the 1898 date mark and the number 120...
