A stand out modernist sterling silver Neck Ring from Finland designed by Pekka Piekainen for Auran Kultaseppa, Oy. He was the head jewelry designer for the company from 1971-89 and had won many prestigious awards.

This humorous, mustached character has a mischievous glint in his amber colored rhinestone eyes. Gold plated, heavy and very three dimensional. Pendant 3 1/2" long, 2" at widest, 1" at deepest. Chain 23 1/2".

A reticulated sterling silver pendant of geometric elements and elongated bale, suspended from an .830 silver chain. Both bear the marks of H.C. Østrem of Drammen; it's very unusual to find a pendant by this maker with its original chain. The script maker's mark also is not often seen. This popular Georg Jensen design features a deeply recessed, oxidized groove around the entire band that is embedded with tiny silver beads. The inside of the band bears the Jensen post-1945 mark, country and sterling marks, and design number of 60 B. The ring is sized at approximately an 8 1/4. Weight: 3.3 grams

This pendant displays a great example of Danish silver jewelry. The artist is Erik Dennung and the piece is manufactured by Buch and Deichmann. Its diameter is 2 1/2". The Scandinavian, abstract, brutalist design sits within a concave disk, of sorts, and is 1/2" in height. This piece has a cool Modernist design and weighs 70 grams - 2 1/2 ounces. Impressive in size this vintage Janna Thomas Mexican silver pendant is an example of the "pluma Azteca" technique which incorporates vividly colored bird feathers in sterling jewelry. Marked From 925S. Measures about a size 7. In nice condition with some minor scratches and nicks to the edges of the back of the shank. Not very noticeable when worn. It may need a bit of cleaning but we will leave that to the new owner. Looks like it may have been resized by a previous owner. The ball sits 1/2" off the finger.

A vintage sterling silver modernist ring by Hans Sten and Karl Laine from Sten and Laine in Finland. Reminds us of an abstract spiderweb. Measures about a size 7 but is adjustble. Top measures 1 1/8" wide and 1 1/4" high. Marked with the hallmark for Sten and Laine, 925H for sterling, Town mark for Turku and T7 for 1972. Very nice condition. Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

These mid-century earrings are composed of rectangular and concave gilded sterling silver plaques enameled in a deep blue with a linear design under the glaze. The blue shows much brighter than in the images and more of a contrast with the two raised ridges of gilded sterling that decorate the center. They are secured by screw backs in good working order, and are signed Balle 925 for Øystein Balle of Norway. They measure 1 inch long by 3/4 inch wide. Weight: 10.1 grams

From the same Florida estate as the Danish malachite pendant, this is a another expertly hand crafted signed Danish sterling pendant with a wonderful orbital rutilated quartz. It measures 1 5/8" long and 1" wide. It is in fine original condition and could be worn on a chain or thin neck ring. Signed IU 925S and Handmade in Denmark. The stone is fascinating and perfect for this solid setting.

This wonderful Finnish pendant measures 3" x 2". It is sterling silver with superb punchwork and solid sterling bead application. It has 5 decorative dangles to complete this Kalevala Koru piece. The back has all the standard Finnish hallmarks: back to back K's for Kalevala Koru, Finnish Crown Stamp, 925H for silver content (sterling), boat stamp for Helsinki and S7 for 1971. It also has the "kk" hallmark for Kalevala Koru Mfg.

This sterling silver ring features a ‘taco’-like folded design with a zigzag band inside sitting on its edge. The inside of the folded piece has been deeply oxidized with a translucent finish. The ring exhibits various kinds of tool marks. The ring is possibly Norwegian, with a mark of 925S inside the band; there are also maker’s initials of JPC, possibly for Danish silversmith Jens Peter Clausen of Copenhagen (1973-1981).
