Bauhaus modernist design labradorite 14k("585")gold pin made by Kaunis Koru, Finland, 1962. This wonderful "space-age" hand made design features a glorious good sized brown/blue/gold iridescent labradorite(7/8" by 1/2")stone. The pin measures 1 1/2" by 1 1/8" and is in excellent condition. It is signed "HN(designer), crown in heart(locally made in Finland), 585(14k), faint mark-can't read city, I7(made in 1962), KK(stylized for maker Kaunis Koru)...

Deco(retro) two-color 14k gold pin with two cultured pearls, probably made in Germany, c. 1930's. The yellow gold background has applied rose gold leaves and pearls. This lovely pin has a trumpet clasp and is marked: "585", a European metric system mark for 14K. It measures 1 5/8" long and is in excellent condition.....$15 USA insured shipping.

Honey colored amber brooch, made in Königsberg / Kaliningrad in the 1950’s. Four leaves and a gold-filled shaft with a Russian / Soviet hallmark. Width "1 ¾ / 4.5 cm. Condition: tip of one leaf with minimal damage (cf. pics).

Two vintage hand wrought unusual sterling silver brooches from the American Studio Modernist jeweler, John Lewis are available. Made up of a sterling ribbons curled and formed into flower designs.

The thicker one measures about 1 3/8" across and 1 1/4" high. Measures 1/4" thick. Heavy and substantial for its size. Marked Sterling and with the crossed JL mark of the artist. The JL is partially off the edge.

The larger brooch measures 1 1/2" across and 1 5/8" high...

An elegant Art Nouveau silver brooch depicting a maiden smelling a rose. She is surrounded in a bower of climbing roses and enclosed in a frame of whiplash curves typical of French Art Nouveau. The clasp is marked for silver and bears the maker's mark of Fernand Boursot, who opened shop in Paris in 1894...

Vintage set of Mexican fine silver concave cufflinks signed by Antonio Pineda, this pair is wrought in the renowned Taxco modernist's .970 alloy. I love the sculptural lusciousness of the flat-bottomed ovoid body and the wave-like motion by which its edges rise and drop around the central hollow. In a slick mid-century design that can be easily enjoyed by just about everybody the cufflinks are 1 3/16" long by 7/8" wide and weigh 23.4 grams (for the set)...

A lovely vintage 14K yellow gold heart pendant pave-set with 62 round brilliant rubies by Tiffany & Co. The heart is slightly domed and shimmers in vibrant red. The workmanship is simply outstanding. The back has a folding bail and a pinstem so the piece can be worn as a pin or suspended on a chain. Marked “Tiffany & Co. 14K”.

A distinctive, eclectic design of various size rings and impressed floral elements, probably ca. 1920. The chain tests strongly as sterling silver and is highly patinated, resembling gunmetal. A 10k white gold pearl, sapphires and diamonds ring from the 1960s. This size 5-3/4 ring features a central 6 mm. cultured pearl with creamy pink lustre and it is surrounded by 2.5 point blue sapphires and this ring has five single point diamonds adding some flash. The sapphires are tested and well matched however we can't confirm whether they have been treated or not. The attractive setting measures 5/8 x 1/2", this ring weighs 3.2 grams and it has remnants of a mark (it tests as 10k)...

This beautifully simple stickpin is the perfect way to set off an elegant suit. The large agate cabochon is bezel set in 18 k gold and is a wonderful swirl on golden colors. The stone is 5/8" top to bottom and the overall length of the pin is 2 7/8". The age is uncertain, but the beauty is timeless.

A modernist sterling silver brooch with two raised sterling 'pearls' and a raised sterling bar by Sigi Pineda. Design number 54. Measures 2 1/2" long and 1 1/2" across. Marked on the back Sigi Tasco, Hecho en Mexico, Sterling, 54, and Eagle #3. Safety rollover clasp holds securely. In very nice condition. Has minor surface scratches. Interesting contrast of oxidized and shiny sterling. A very beautiful brooch by a talented artisan.

An extraordinarily fine pair of late Victorian or early Edwardian 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces in the form of navette-shaped buttons carved from crystal opal. The faces are accented with silver “stitches”, each accented with a five small rose cut diamonds. The opals have clear body color and the play-of-color is predominantly shades of green and blue with occasional flecks of orangy-red. The faces are connected by gold chains to gold torpedo backs...

The "Silver by Tono" hallmark dates this supremely rare piece 1948-1953. This is a book-piece design, shown on p. 89 of Silver Seduction. Composed of two fuchsia flowers with hand-carved jade along with leaves, the larger flower dangles to allow this pin different looks depending on how the pin is hung...

Anyone looking for an antique diamond engagement ring, this is the ring you should look at. Dating back to the 1920-s is this beautifully created openwork 18Kt white gold six-prong basket setting that holds a 1.09 Ct old-mine diamond. The diamond is not certified, but our in-house gemologist graded it to be L color and VS2 clarity. This stone has a lot of sparkle, and the setting enhances that look. The ring is a size 6 and can easily be sized.

A fun Victorian 14K yellow gold stickpin in the form of an oyster, complete with a small natural pearl resting on the lip of the oyster's shell. The surface is hand engraved to mimic the roughness of an oyster shell. The reverse is stamped "14K" and has an indistinct maker's mark.

A fine Victorian 14K gold and platinum locket ornately decorated in the Etruscan style with a lily pond scene. The scene includes rose gold cattails, green gold lily pads, and platinum lily blossoms. The remainder of the locket is enanced with ropetwists, wire work, and appliques. The locket opens at the back to reveal a photo compartment. The locket is completed iwth its original matching bail.

Rafael Melendez worked for Spratling when he first opened his taller de las Delicias. Melendez left to open his own Taller in 1939. This is one of his earliest marks that was done in 980 silver. This is a gorgeous modernist Mexican bracelet from Salvador Teran. I have the matching necklace listed in my shop, bottom photo shows both pieces.
