Here is a substantial 1970s handmade ring composed of a hammered disc mounted on a thick band. It is marked 925; there is no maker’s mark. The disc measures 1 inch in diameter; the ring size is about 8 1/4; the band is adjustable.

An attractive pair of mid-century 14K gold cufflinks, the faces divided diagonally into contrasting triangles. On each face, one triangle is deeply ribbed, while the smooth portion features a gypsy-set diamond. The angularity of the design makes for a very modernistic appeal. The diamonds are graded as J/I2. The backs are marked “14K”.

This sparkling stunner has 2 big rhinestones (7/16”), 2 smaller ones (1/4”), and 8 small accent stones (there should be 9. One is missing, but it’s really hard to tell, due to all that sparkle), set in white metal. The whole thing measures 2” x 9/16” at the widest points. Stamped “Czechoslov” on the back, it is in overall good condition: the stones have a couple chips, and a little abrasion, but the stones are so sparkly it’s hard to spot these...

Fabulous and unusual apple juice Bakelite bangle with applied chrome plated metal decoration, and inset brilliant colorless strass stones. This piece is French, circa 1930. Handsome cufflinks with hexagonal faces linked by chains to torpedo backs. The faces are engraved with an intricate engine-turned design. The backs are marked with Finnish hallmarks for Helsinki. The maker’s mark is illegible, but the gold content is “890” which translates to around 21K.

A handsome pair of mid-century 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces collet-set with rectangular tablet-cut pyrope-almandite garnets. Garnets such as these are typically very dark, but these stones have superb clarity and a lively deep orangy-red color. The fine engraving on the gold surface beneath the garnets shows through and imparts just a bit of sparkle. The toggle backs are fully stamped with French 18K gold marks.

Napier silver plate over brass, c1955, three strand bracelet with center overlapping talon ends holding coral ceramic balls. It is 8 1/4" (20.9 cm) long and the three wheat chain strands together are 1 3/8" (3.8 cm) wide, not including the ceramic balls. They are each 3/4" (2.2 cm) in diameter. The bracelet was designed by Eugene Bertilli and is signed Napier on the clasp. It is in beautiful vintage condition with no plate loss that I could spot.

An 18K gold and amethyst Venetian Etruscan charm or pendant enhanced with ropetwist and beaded decoration. The larger portions of the gold surface are worked in an engraved crosshatch pattern that is very unusual for Italian charms of the period.
