A lovely 18K yellow gold hinged bangle bracelet in the Edwardian style, set with a row of fifteen well-matched oval brilliant cut blue sapphires in graduated sizes, flanked at either end with small rose cut diamonds. The sapphires have very nice medium-tone violetish-blue coloring with very good clarity. There are no indications of heat treatment. The bracelet is stamped with Italian hallmarks in use 1944-1968.

Circa 1950's, this belt buckle is was produced by Antonio Pineda. I have never seen this one before, and it's quite similar to one which William Spratling designed. Antonio Pineda began his career working for William Spratling. It's hand-wrought with criss-crossing lines which are deeply carved with oxidized recesses.

A classic pair of mmid-Century modernist cufflinks by Lucien Piccard, featuring a circlet of round brilliant-cut garnets around a central plaque of gold enhanced with a Florentine finish. Piccard more often used synthetic sapphires or synthetic rubies in his cufflink designs. A forged wire pendant composed of drops of various lengths is attached to a chain of shorter, peaked forged bars linked by securely soldered rings. The necklace has a nice heft, but it quite comfortable. The back bears the circular impressed Mexican silver mark with central maker’s initials of possibly OBC, and the eagle 1 mark. A 10k gold high school entrance exam award ribbon from West York, Ontario Canada 1921. This opulent yellow gold award comprises the brooch pin and hanging award shield on a navy blue grosgrain ribbon. The pin is engraved "HIGH SCHOOL ENTRANCE EXAMINATION 1921" and the medallion has "WEST YORK" on the front and "FIRST HONORS S.S. # 32 DORIS COLEMAN" on the reverse. West York was the name of an area of Toronto and SS #32 was Baby Point school opened in 1915...

A green and brown marbled agate square is decorated with a sterling modified pinwheel design. The handmade bale is sturdy. The entire plaque is mounted on a sterling backing marked 925. This fine Cini brooch measures 2 1/2" x 2". It is the AQUARIUS pin from Cini's popular Zodiac Series. It displays cupid holding an urn, pouring water, adorned with a leafy motif. It reflects classical and renaissance hints of Italian art, by designer, Guglielmo Cini. All Cini's pieces are high quality with fine workmanship. The back is marked STERLING by Cini in script. It is in excellent condition. Circa 1940'-1960's. It has very good heft too.

Large Ottoman part belt buckle half, 19th century. Classic Paisley (teardrop) shape. Repoussé and engraved decoration of an eagle surrounded by flowers. Use of both hook and backside bars will make the buckle a perfect and beautiful pendant. The back with engraved name “Aine” in European lettering. Height "3 ½/ 9 cm, weight 49 grams. Condition: fine.

These interesting turquoise and sterling silver earrings were made in Mexico. The clover shape looks like three hearts with a stem, with the turquoise inlay separated by the sterling silver. The back of one of the screwbacks is marked HECHO EN MEXICO 925 (of which only HECHO EN M and 9 are legible). They also have the maker's initials: a curved BEH, of which the H is not fully stamped. These earrings measure 1" x 3/4". The patina is great as are the turquoise colors.

In the manner of Liberty, here is a wonderful turquoise with matrix pendant framed in a sterling and gold floral setting. The Arts and Crafts pendant measures 2" x 1-7/8"; the 18" period paper link chain is marked sterling. The pendant is unmarked.
