A very nice Retro 14K yellow gold statement ring set with an imposing lemon yellow emerald cut citrine flanked by natural ruby cabochons. The split shank with a cage setting holds the citrine only at the very corners, so from the top, the entire ring appears to be one large expanse of gemstone. The rubies provided a nice pop of color. Heavy 18K gold figural watch fob seal depicting a Napoleonic grenadier (1804-1812). The soldier is depicted in the midst of tamping down his musket. The details are beautifully worked. The base appears to have had the original monogram removed. The bail is stamped with French 18K gold hallmarks.

A very handsome pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces formed from faceted rhodolite garnets of unusually large size centering old European cut diamonds. The purplish-red hue of the garnets contrasts beautifully with the gold mounting and the white diamonds (G, VS2). The backs are finished with toggles. The connectors are stamped with French marks for 18K gold and with the goldsmith's mark (entered in 1913) for the Parisian jeweler Leon Favrin.

An important, rare modernist bracelet by the renowned African American jeweler, Art Smith. Made of woven, riveted and patinated copper.

Measures 5 3/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4" and 1 3/4" wide. Marked with the 'Art Smith' script signature in at least two places. Looks like there is also a third partial strike. Very good condition with some minor surface scratches and areas of tarnish.

A handsome and heavy pair of 18K yellow gold double-sided cufflinks, the faces set with lapis plaques. The exposed gold borders give the cufflinks a modernist feel. The stones have nice, deep coloring with small flecks of pyrite. The faces are joined with removable connectors. Both the connectors and the backs of the faces are marked with Continental 18K gold hallmarks.

A nice Victorian 14K yellow gold locket, the cover decorated with an ornately detailed lion’s head. The cat’s mane flares out from the face grasping a round cut diamond and ruby-set eyes. A bold beautiful Mexican Silver & Amethyst bracelet by the famous Fred Davis. Each of the six heavy sterling silver links is set at the center with a deep purple amethyst cabochon stone. A classic Venetian Etruscan 18K gold charm set with oval amethysts. The gold surfaces are ornately worked with rosettes, beaded and rope-twist decoration. A fine pair of Art Deco 14K yellow gold double-sided cufflinks, the faces set with sugarloaf cabochons of colorful jasper chalcedony. The pattern of inclusions is similar to moss agate, but the greenish wisps appear against a semi-transparent background of deep rust instead of the more typical creamy beige. A particularly lovely Art Nouveau enameled 14K gold flower pin in the form of an iris. The flower is enhanced with iridescent enamels in delicate shades of green, cream and purple. A 3-point old mine cut diamond is nestled in the center of the blossom. The flower petals are deeply ruffled and finely engraved for added texture. The back retains the original clasp, stamped with the mark for Whiteside & Blank, but the pinstem has been replaced.

Three rich deeply-colored pear-shaped sapphires for the petals of the trefoil in this elegant pendant necklace. The flower is centered with a rose cut diamond. The sapphires are excellent quality with a velvety violetish-blue appearance. The trefoil’s stem curls around on itself to for the Art Nouveau styled border of the pendant. The 18K pendant was originally a brooch but has been given new life as a pendant necklace with the addition of a 14K gold cable chain.
