A fine and very early pair of silver cufflinks in the “Maya” pattern by Margot de Taxco. Margot established her own studio in 1948. The “Maya” pattern, displaying a strongly-featured native Mexican man in profile, became one of her iconic designs. The cufflinks are generously sized and retain a nice patina. Brass Art Nouveau Beaux Arts style earrings looking very much like unsigned GNS & Co George Steere of nearby Providence RI!
With poured pink peach green & foiled accented art glass bezel set 7/8" matte cabochons for total of 2 1/2".
Although this could be an unsigned GNS & Co pair, the serrated bezel not his usual, yet the metal color tone certainly is! So is the the back setting around his favored foil glass.

From his third design period, this design is shown on the Spratling Silver website. Described as "round urns with three feet of silver and obsidian". A sterling silver abstract brooch by the MCM jeweler and sculpter, Joseph Skinger, (1911-1967). He was active in Vermont in the 1950s and 60s, working primarily in silver. Known for his modernist 'Slalom' ring.

This brooch measures 2 1/8" long and 1" at the widest. Marked Sterling Skinger.
