A terrific pair of Retro 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the round faces set with large round cabochons of amethyst. The stones have very good, deep purple coloring. The faces are joined by hinged connectors to rectangular backs enhanced with stippling and rose gold banding. The connectors are marked “585” for 14K. The style of connector suggests that the cufflinks are Scandinavian in origin.

A pair of vintage modernist sterling silver earrings by the well known Mid Century NYC jeweler, Henry Steig. Geometric sterling layered design. They are opposites so will frame the face when worn.

Warm patina. Screw backs hold securely. Measure about 7/8" long and 3/4" across. Marked Steig Sterling on the backs and Sterling on the screw parts. Well made.

Fine MCM design.

Danish silversmith Gertrude Engel made this unique, modernist ring. Her signature is found on many Anton Michelsen pieces, along with the AM crown maker’s mark (as she designed for that firm). This ring, however, is solely signed by her (see pictures). The rounded band of heavy gauge silver is 1/2” wide. It has a cluster of 10 bezel set carnelian cabochons. It is signed “Gengel,” in script (her maker’s mark), and “925S” and is in excellent condition. It is about a size 5.

Very interestingly constructed sterling silver man's ring. The bar linking the ends of the band are topped with a cultured pearl on one side, and a flat black onyx or glass piece on the other. Unmarked. Excellent vintage condition. Size 12.

Beginning in approximately 1943, due to the war, Coro limited the use of hard to obtain rhinestones and created many different sterling silver designs each utilizing one one central rhinestone.

Dramatic handmade Sterling Silver necklace designed by Rey Urban, and made by A. Fausing Denmark c.1960. This extremely sculptural modernist sterling silver collier necklace was designed by swedish silversmith Rey Urban and handmade in Stockholm Sweden and produced for the danish Åge Fausing workshop in the 60s. Very rare. Fully hallmarked as shown. In excellent condition. The necklace measures 7.25" in height, with the interior opening measuring just over 5" tall and just over 4.5" wide.

These sterling silver, screwback earrings are so cool. They are circa 1950's. They measure 1" x 3/8" x 1/4" deep. They feature a mod shape with a concave, oxidized background, with prong set, cultured pearls. One is marked STERLING J.S.C 925 (see pictures). I am still trying to figure out the silversmith's mark. This is a beautifully executed, thick silver bracelet that is 1in. wide on the side panels. The piece weighs 29.7 grams and has an airy cut out design and features an amethyst cabachon. It is slightly sizable and fits a 6.5in. to a 7in. the best. Marked Silver Mexico which dates the piece to pre-1948. This example of early Taxco silver work is a classic and displays an aura of elegance to those who gaze upon it.

Spratling's Nahui Ollin cuff is often found in a large mens size but this rare one is sized for a woman, is comfortable and will not shake off in movement. It is heavy at 151 grams of high content silver. The amethyst are a gorgeous grape color with no chips or damage. The gap is .75 inches with a diameter of 2 3/8th inches. With a dramatic face front that is 2.25 in. tall the presence is outstanding . One of my favorite designs with thick hand chased details.

This 14Kt gold Retro band is alternating seven diamonds and seven rubies. The stylish openwork design decorated by cross-bars and petals all set with the alternating gems and completed with a rope like borders on each side. These cuff links are formed as gnarled bark, and appear to have a surface of light copper luster. They bear the mark of Pentti Sarpeneva of Finland (1925-1973), who worked primarily in bold designs during the 1950s and 1960s.
