Natural low table with leveled round flat stop surface. Table surface is round in form and scalloped equally on all sides, flaring at the base. Flowing ribbon edge finishes out on four steady and sturdy base touch points. Circular grain mixing tones of dark and light.

Oil or acrylic painting on canvas, 12" by 16", presently unframed, with notation on stretcher "CORTONA ITALY SEPT. 2007" and a signature that looks like "Mylius". Cortona is a town in Tuscany. The artist I believe was American. His or her style is charmingly primitive/naive. The color harmony is very pleasing, and condition is excellent...

Walnut is used on large sculptures such as this one, because it does not brake while the artisan is working it, and because it lasts a very long time. This is a good sample of using the natural color of agate to create an interesting snuff bottle. It is 3 inches tall, 1 1/8 inches wide and 1 inch thick. The artist used the orange of the agate to create a large squash and small squash hanging on its side. The black section of the stone color was used to create a lucky bat; the lighter color of the stone served to create a monkey grabbing the smaller squash. The subject is quite striking and the workmanship is wonderful...

A contemporary oil on canvas scene featuring a small bridge over a Venice, Italy canal; this may be the famous Ponte delle Tette bridge. The work measures 11 1/2" by 13 1/2" as framed. I do not see a signature. The painting and frame are in excellent condition.

Oil on canvas painting of the famous Rialto Bridge in Venice, Italy, signed at lower right with a signature that looks like Gianni XXXX, and dated there 2000, the piece measuring 17" by 23" in green framing. The work is nicely painted, the water reflections handled well. Condition is excellent. This should bring back fond memories of a trip to the world-renowned antique historic city.

Surfaced flat rounded top with natural deviations and form. Edges cascade down vertical. Base sites flat on the floor with three main touch points. White was exterior feel to the wood mixed with natural butter graining. Pulling a mix of light and dark tones.

There are some who frame these sculptural hand hammered hand built ceramic clay pieces in a shadow box to hang on their walls.
