Measuring 10 1/2" by 12 3/4" framed and nicely matted, the work is signed at lower left corner by artist "Greenaway". The framing sticker on the reverse from San Luis Obispo suggests the possibility that the scene is somewhere on the central California coast.

Although the style is Chinese from the 18th century, these are late copies Probably Chinese work from the 20th century, perhaps from the Republican period.
