Watercolor on paper painting of a red barn in a country landscape, a high western mountain in the left background, signed at lower left "Elizabeth Quiroga". The painting measures 12 1/4" by 15 1/4" in its present wood frame. The artist seems to have had a good command of the medium. Condition is excellent. There is a pencil sketch of a barn on the reverse side of the paper. Condition is excellent. Allow for reflections in a few images.

A mourning portrait miniature by Elizabeth (Eliza) Goodridge. The work, painted in watercolor on natural wafer, is a depiction of a young boy's head issuing from a cloud beneath. Presented in a period, and probably original, case with a glazed, but empty, aperture on the reverse.

The condition is excellent, with no flaws, as is that of the case. The overall size is 2 1/2" by 2 1/16".

(based in North Carolina) acquired 75 acres (300,000 m2) previously known as the Athletic Park tract at the reported cost of $1000 an acre. The motorized sculpture in the plaza, "The Working Man", is by Jonathan Borofsky. It is today an iconic piece of the downtown Seattle scene. A watercolor painting of flowers (perhaps, zinnias) in a vase on a tabletop, painted in an impressionist manner, and signed at lower right by artist "Cara dee" or similar. The work measures 18 3/4" by 14 3/4" as framed. All photos taken through detail-dulling non-glare glass. Condition is excellent.

A very interesting portrait miniature of a gentleman. Done in watercolor on organic material, it shows a half length naive depiction of a man posed with his hand in his waistcoat. The overall "feel" of this work is that it was done in the en grisaille style, in spite of the color in the man's lips, his vest, and cummerbund.

Condition of the painting and simple metal frame is excellent (light areas at the edges are due to reflections off the chamfered glass), with a size of 2 1/4" by 1 3/4".

This hand carved rock crystal snuff bottle is 2 ½ inches tall, 1 ¼ inches wide and 1 inch thick. It depicts a bird resting on a small branch of a gourd plant. The snuff bottle is well hollowed and polished. It has a cone shaped agate top. The crystal has natural grains and impurities.

A lovely good-sized, (30 1/2" by 34 1/2", and 34 1/2" by 38" framed) impressionist painting of a Swiss garden in Rovio near Lugano in the southern part of Switzerland hard on the Italian border, between famous Lakes Como and Maggiore, titled on reverse "Garten in Rovio", and dated there 1928, by well-listed Spanish artist JOSE SANZ Y ARIZMENDI (1885-1929). This is an impressive work by a talented artist. His biography is elusive. He was from Spain but spent a lot of time in Switzerland...

The reverse of the original frame has quite a bit of information on it, indicating that the sitter is Ambrose Dickinson, one of Anson's nine siblings...
