An unframed oil on canvas painting of a dreamy waterfall, the deep and mysterious gorge featuring palm trees and at left a small flower-bedecked modest home, the 24" by 18" work signed at lower right "Carolyn". Condition is excellent, the work needing only a frame. The rendering of the palms reminds a bit of the way Filipino artist Romeo Tabuena painted such scenes.

This is an unsigned, unframed, double-sided watercolor on heavy watercolor paper, 14 1/2" by 10 1/4", one side featuring a partially nude woman with arms behind her head, a decorative flowered textile of some sort covering the lower portion of her body; the other side features an outdoor amphitheater nighttime performance---perhaps, it has been suggested, the Hollywood Bowl. The vintage piece was acquired from a large collection of art that came from the estate of Brooks Pettus (1918-2003)...

Highly decorative pochoir print, circa 1920's, of children flying balloons against a gold sky, 9" by 7", 18" by 16" in playful bright red frame. This is likely an illustration for a children's book of the period. Condition is excellent. The frame has some scratches at top and left that could likely be minimized. The mat is a creamy color with pattern and consistency somewhat resembling that of a paper towel. Ideal for a child's room.

If you're looking for an Asian accent piece for your interior, consider this oil on canvasboard, 23 5/8" by 17 5/8" (a little over 31" by 25" as framed), signed at lower right "Bill Parrish" (or Perrish, or Porrish), not dated but likely mid century from late 1940's to early 1960's, the subject a young Chinese woman in traditional colorful costume, with what I believe is an important Chinese character for something important like "life", "luck", etc. at upper right background...

India ink on card drawing of a Spanish-California style home, the card 8" by 13 1/2", (plus surrounding simple mat, no glass/frame, hinged at top edge inside the mat), signed on reverse and dated mid-1922, by listed artist CHARLES VOORHIES (1901-1970). Note the 1922 rubber stamps on the back showing this was created at the University of California Architectural Dept., (Berkeley), in that year, while the artist was just a student. Voorhies was born in Portland, Oregon...

Apparently unsigned, the work measures 10" by 13 1/4" (18" by 21 1/4" in circa 1960's or 1970's frame). This could be a scene of Spain, Central or South America, or, even, Southern California.
