Kenneth Frazier (American, 1867-1949) landscape painting titled "Autumn" in Garrison NY. Oil on canvas, dated 1930, initialed by artist in lower right 'KF'. Size: 25 inches x 30 inches. Kenneth Frazier was a New York artist who worked in a variety of styles: Art Nouveau, Impressionist & Realist. He was an illustrator, as well as a figure, portrait and landscape painter, and worked in both oil and watercolor...

This appears to be an image in gouache on top of some kind of waxy scratchboard, measuring 10" by 14" (17" by 20 3/4" as framed), signed at lower left "DE GUST" and dated there "59". I can't find a listing for the artist but he or she painted in a classic style pioneered by the likes of Jean Le Mayeur and others in the history of modern Indonesian art. The painting is in excellent condition, and is ready for the wall in its simple black frame and clean mat.

A watercolor of the year 2006, signed "Rogers", featuring a close-up architectural view of the upper part of a church or cathedral. The spires and domes kind of resemble a famous church in Venice, Italy, though the scene could be almost anywhere in southern Europe or Latin America. The unframed work measures 6 5/8" by 11 1/2" inside the dark blue over-mat. That mat has a little wear but could be retained if you just want to frame over it for a smaller opening.

Oil on canvas laid against board painting of historic ancient structures apparently on a coastline, 11 1/2" by 9" (19" by 16" framed), signed at lower left in Hebrew script. There is a second painting on the reverse signed "Hausner" and dated 1979. A reader of Hebrew has confirmed that the signature in that language also reads "Hausner". The scene of buildings is almost expressionistic as opposed to impressionistic. There is a brooding darkness to the sky and a vigor to the brushstrokes...

Gouache and pencil on paper, 16 3/4" by 12 1/2" (slightly larger as simply framed), signed at lower left by listed American artist JOHN EDWIN JACKSON (1876-1950). The scene is a genteel one, with a proper southern gentleman and belle, in a grand architectural setting. The artist was very prolific, illustrating many books and magazines in the first half of the twentieth century, yet, little seems to be known about him. A few pieces have been sold at illustration art auctions...

A highly decorative and good-sized painting on canvas of a vintage motorcycle, painted in a Pop Art style. The work is unsigned and probably dates to the past twenty years. Oil on board, 18" by 30" (23" by 35" as framed), the scene at dockside in Venice, Italy, gondolas at the ready and figures walking the dock, sun-washed buildings in the background. The painting is signed, though awkwardly, at lower left "Arthur V. Diehl", leading me to think originally that this was by that noted American impressionist painter who died in 1929 (Diehl had created throughout his lifetime, from memory, mostly, Venice scenes, even though he had only visited there as a young man)...

From the 1964 Derriere Le Miroir #149, one of five original lithographs that appeared in that issue, with original center crease and reverse text in English and French, "Red Yellow Blue", by the famous Color Field and Hard-Edge modern artist ELLSWORTH KELLY (1923-2015). This print published in November 1964 by Maeght Editeur is in superb original condition, the colors rich and not light-struck. Measurements are 15" by 21 1/2" (21" by 28" in its present silver metal framing)...

Oil on canvas, 22" by 18 1/2", unframed, the subject a vase of colorful flowers painted in a highly impressionistic manner. The painting is signed at lower right center with the notoriously difficult to decipher signature of the artist HENRI d'ANTY (1910-1998). The age would appear to be circa late 1950's or early 1960's. D'Anty was born in France and painted scenes in Brittany, northern France, and along the banks of the Marne River...
