A highly decorative, elegant painting of Siamese cats, 22" by 24" (32" by 34" in gold contemporary framing), signed at top edge by the noted American artist KENNETH STEVEN MACINTIRE (1891-1979). Judging from the materials used, the painting was likely painted at some time from the late 1940's through about 1960, I believe. The colors used----white, gold yellows, and black----make for a highly decorative composition that reminds of the Art Deco period...

This is a fascinating drawing, in that it appears to be a photograph, such as a rotogravure print........but, it is not. It is guaranteed unconditionally to be an original watercolor, ink and gouache drawing of an old portal, possibly the entry to a church. The door seems to have been a favorite motif for generations of German and traveling artists.....a favorite "motif" just like the iconic red fishing shack in Rockport, Massachusetts, or the Brulatour Courtyard in New Orleans...

A beautiful and rare Indonesian rosewood mask 7”x6” Circa 1960 Berlin Estate

Oil on canvasboard painting of a rocky cliff at the coast, 11 1/2" by 14 3/4" as framed, signed at lower right "K.B. GUNDERMAN". The impressionist work likely dates to about 1960. I do not see a listing for an artist by this name (there is a Karen Gunderman who works with ceramic and abstraction but this does not seem to be the same artist).
