This is a really pretty ruby flashed English Hobnail footed candy dish with lid made by Westmoreland Glass. This candy dish measure 6 1/4 inches high to top of the knob with the lid on. "Daiou" could be symbolic of any type of "greatness," but was most likely a reference to the country during the Japanese Imperial era. A lovely set of six sterling silver demitasse spoons in the “Wild Rose” variant of the “Vine” pattern.
