Old Chinese silk embroidered scroll of a rooster and a hen amongst flowers. The satin stitch and numerous colored silk threads were used to blend and create this work of art. In excellent condition, it measures as a scroll: 7 feet long X 26 inches.

Japanese limited edition woodblock print by French artist Paul Jacoulet (1902-1960) titled "Sunset in Menado, Celebres" (Coucher de Soleil a Menado. Celebres) published December 26, 1938. Executed in a soft palette, the print depicts a nude male in a subservient position to the female standing over him. This print is illustrated on page 55 (plate 53) of “The Prints of Paul Jacoulet” by Richard Miles, 1982. It is described on page 100...

This is a beautiful dark blue Japanese Uchikake (wedding gown) made in Nishijin, Kyoto. The label states the name of Nishijin and the use of pure gold. The gown is woven with fans and Gosho (palace) flower carts which is one of the favorite motifs used for Japanese wedding gowns. Chinese tripod bronze censer with cover, early 20th century, bears Chinese seal mark on the base. Size: Height of the censer is 7.5 inches. Condition Report: Excellent condition.

Chinese gourd shaped vase done in Peking glass with silver wire and fittings covering the vase. The silver fittings contain auspicious motifs such as the character longevity and goldfish. Seated Kwan yins are also adorning the vase. The bottom contain two chop marks, one says wenyin and another reading tianzhu Age:19th/ 20th century - height 6.5" diameter 3.5"

Japanese print entitled "Last Supper" by Sadao Watanbe. Sadao Watanabe (1913-1996) was part of the Mingi (folk art) movement in Japan which involved the use of natural materials. A large, rustic and beautiful flower basket, Hanakago for flower arrangement. Signed Gyokukosai . Madake, smoked bamboo. Technique used: strips of bamboo braided and interwoven together. H 35 x 33 x 30 cm. It comes with a new Otoshi. Japan, around 1950-60. Very good condition.

A beautiful set of early 20th C. Chinese scholar items, black lacquer nested boxes, letter holder and stamp roller, in good condition. Marked. Large box D:13cm x 7cm.

Unusual Japanese bronze / brass haisaji - spoon for ashes from hibachi used during tea ceremony. Good design, hammered spoon part, braided wire nicely imitating cord. Comes in paulownia box with wrapping cloth, must be about 50 years old. Wonderful object in great condition, beautiful patina from use. Spoon length 8 1/2 inches, box length 9 1/4 inches.

This ivory snuff bottle is a mid - 20th century product. It is 2 5/8” high, 1 ¾” wide and 1” thick. One side is a relief carving of Shou Xing (God of Longevity) and his young apprentice. The other side is an etching of bird, flowers and trees. It is in great condition.

Japanese Ojime carved out of natural Fruit Seed, 3/4" round with two(2) large holes for rope, tightening to Netsuke before Inro Medicine case and carrying on their belt. The condition is good..

Furoshiki (wrapping cloth) with owner's name, made of asa (hemp) whose warps and wefts are hand-plied. It has 4 mending patches with same cloth as the ground. It has un-dyed cotton cloth for reinforcement in the middle and has sashiko. Used but in excellent condition. The first half of the 20th century. 132cm x 138cm

Chinese antique "Henan" stoneware vase of meiping form with ribbing, with a short collared neck over broad shoulders tapering to a narrow foot. Iron painted deep brown to black glaze. The glaze stopping short of the unglazed rim and base.

A 1940s Kashmir wood turned box featuring a wonderful warm gold and green lacquered mottled design over black. It measures 5.75 inches across and 4.5 high including finial.

Radical black florals decorate the rich iron sides of the bowl, tapering ever so slightly closed toward the top to help trap the aroma of the green tea within. Contemporary Korean single section kitchen cabinet, made with bold elm wood (Keyaki in Japanese). This piece has an upper and lower set of sliding doors with attractive latticework over rice paper. The top and mid region have four small drawers across, with the very top middle drawers as hidden compartments. The bottom of the piece has two doors on hinges, and a middle lock to match the others.
