Made with a stencil pattern and gold surihaku this small child's kimono is in excellent condition. It measures 31½"across the shoulders (including sleeves) and 34"long. It is very soft silk and dates to early Showa, mid 1930s.

10 Japanese Lacquer covered bowls with beautiful sprays of Chrysanthemums in gold and red colors continued from the top cover to the side of the bowl, 3 1/2" high with top on, 4 3/4" diameter-rim, gold painted wavy flowing water design under the cover. The condition is good, no damages.

One cylindrical with a warm terra cotta colored glaze with white dripping on a coarse, light buff body burnt to an earthy orange where the bottom meets the glaze - the ring foot notched beside an impressed, three character artist's mark. Shamanic drum handle, carved in the shape of a "phurpa" (shamanic ritual dagger), surmounted with three deities heads. Wood, fine dark brown patina. Nepal, early 20th century. Height: 33.5 cm. Nicely mounted on a custom stand. Very good condition.

Upper: Ink on gold leaf paper. The calligraphy writing by Jiang Zuo-bin (1884-1942), a political and military figure, and a diplomat during the Republic Period.
Lower: Ink and color on gilded paper. The painting was attributed to Tang Xue-shi, signed in 庚午年 (1930).
Excellent condition. Re-mounted by the previous owner.

A well potted Kuro Raku Chawan Black Raku Tea Bowl.
The bowl is hand shaped, covered in black glaze with a few small areas in which the cream colour clay shows through. It rest very well in the hands! Raku mark impressed to the bottom. H 8 x 12 cm.

Japanese limited edition color etching and aquatint titled "Paris" by Kenji Ushiku (1922-?). Pencil-signed, titled, and numbered 63/150 in the bottom margin. Ushiku was particularly active in the 1960s and 1970s. There is a pencil notation of "4-80-45" at the bottom edge which could perhaps imply a date of April 1980. Paper size: 15 1/2" x 22." Very good overall condition. Printed on heavy rag paper with large margins. Never framed.
Pair Himalayan Tibetan Stupa shape Brass Chops, Seals, Stupa Altar pieces, 2 1/4" high, 1" to 1 1/8" wide on the bottom, carved double fish and other Buddhist symbols inside hexagonal shape bottom, the condition is good.
